Good grab and go point and click camera
Great budget camera. This thing isn’t anything a photographer would phone home about, but for a point and click grab and go camera you can throw in your pocket, this thing is just what you need. Solid build and easy to use. Has a nice balance between the simple and the complex. Not a huge iso range, no crazy sensors, or f stop, but it gets the job done well in most situations if all you’re looking for is something easy to use. Should note that it runs on regular ol batteries which aren’t cheap these days. Bonus is, batteries are just about everywhere when you need them. All in all, this is a good camera for what it is meant to be, a middle of the road, grab and go, point and click camera with easy functionality and a few of the photographers manual bells and whistles.

Works great with a learning curve.
The camera takes good pictures. We bought it for our recent trip to Yellowstone and are overall pleased with the pictures. Take time BEFORE your intended use to learn the camera (our biggest mistake). It shoots great video and pictures, but you need to make sure the settings are correct before you start shooting. I love the multi shot setting and the moving object auto-focus for nature shots, but having to redo the settings every time you turn the camera on is very annoying, and caused us to miss several opportunities for great pictures. A save settings function would be fabulous. The panorama and landscape settings also gave us some amazing pictures (I’m sure that had nothing to do with Yellowstone). I love the zoom with image stabilization. A couple of the attached pictures are handheld at 42 power zoom. The zoom works fast in picture mode and slow in video mode. Perfect for normal use. No complaints about image stabilization in either photo or video mode. I love the 1 button video. Great for shooting something before it gets away.Buy the largest SD card you can afford and you won’t regret it. I bought extra batteries after we got back from our trip, and wish I had done it before. The things I would change about the camera are; add manual focus (sometimes it just wouldn’t focus on our subject, especially when zoomed to the max), allow me to save settings for the next time I turn on the camera, and a Bluetooth remote shutter release would be fantastic. With all that said, I realize that this is not a pro model camera, and once you get past the relatively short learning curve, it is an excellent value. If you are looking for an affordable, easy to use camera, and understand the shortcomings, this could be the camera for you.

Quality Camera but not for me, personally.
I liked this camera a lot, but ultimately ended up returning it. The zoom capability and picture quality are great. However, I didn’t like the point and shoot feature as much as I thought I would. I definitely prefer looking through a view finder, and it’s easier to see what your looking at–I found that in sunny weather it was hard to see the screen so the point and shoot ease was rendered obsolete.

Decent photos, Ok for the price. Bad lens cap design
The lens cover does not stay on… Probably my biggest beef… The lens cover is stupid design… Should have some spring loaded snap thing to keep it on like my old cameras always did… Otherwise seems to take nice photos..So the big question will be how to not damage the lens..Purchased to take some better quality photos of my rental property and it seems to do the job, even in auto mode. Nice that I did not have to make a big study of how to use it, just point and click.. One thing I noticed is that close up picks tend to come out blurry but that might be user error, a shaky hand perhaps…It has a lot of advanced features of more expensive cameras that I have yet to learn about.

Convenient and Works well at the MP.
I am surprised Kodak is still in the game, i.e. well with all the future CMOS chips and so on.This is a really nice camera and it has a rechargeable battery which is something I am fond of currently. Adding AA batteries to the camera every time it dies is not fun. Plugging it in is just that much more convenient.

So Bad I Switched To Cell Phone On Alaska Vacation For Better Picture Quality
Long range and mid range this camera is useless. Got it specifically for the long optical zoom, but auto focus constantly hunts and goes between fuzzy and crisp. It’s just a matter of chance if you catch the picture when it is crisp or fuzzy. Routinely had to take six pictures to get one good one. And that is while stationary. It’s 10x worse if you are moving. If you (in a car, for example) or your subject is moving (animals, boat, train, clouds…) you will miss the shot. Very frustrated and disappointed with this camera. Stopped using it and switched to cell phone camera mid-vacation because I was missing so many shots.

It works great. I’m not a pro but it took beautiful pictures
It is somewhat easy to use. Although the camera has a lot of functions that you may don’t even need. Zoom is great, it worked for me on my Japan trip. Sometimes I have issues with the exposure because it doesn’t shot even it’s focused in. Not sure how to solve that issue as I’m not a pro photographer, but I’m sure there’s a setting with the light or shutter speed. Good value for the money
