Why does the V12 have good cooling performance?
This is determined by three main factors: The 5.5-inch diameter industrial turbine fan, a high power operation of 36W, and an ideal speed of 2800 RPM. It also benefits greatly from llano’s 12 years of expertise in laptop peripherals.
Why does higher speed result in more noise?
We use brushless motors, the faster they rotate, the greater the airflow produced, which enhance cooling effect. However, this also leads to increased noise.
Why can the V12 only reach a maximum speed of 2800rpm?
Through repeated testing by our engineers and found that a 5.5in large-diameter fan only generates noise close to the maximum acceptable level at a maximum speed of 2800 RPM and achieving optimal cooling efficiency.
How often is the dust-proof cotton typically replaced?
It usually needs to be replaced every 3 to 6 months. the dust-proof cotton can prevent dust from entering the laptop, thereby extending the lifespan of the laptop
Can I turn the lights off?
Yes, just long press the RGB mode button for 2s, turning on the rgb light is the same operation.

An Excellent, Dependable Laptop Cooling Device
I’m running a kinda old Lenovo P15 Gen 1 with an Intel i9-10885H, 128GB of RAM, 2 NVMe SSDs, and a Quadro RTX 3000 GPU, all of which generate a significant amount of heat under heavy workloads. Since using the llano v12 laptop pad cooler, I’ve seen my GPU temperatures drop consistently by around 10-15°C, which is a notable improvement and makes extended sessions far more comfortable. The airflow can be clearly felt, and the fan goes all the way to 2800 RPM, which is LOUD. The USB ports are a nice addition too; providing extra ones that I don’t even need, but are good to have, since I have a Thunderbolt hub.The build quality of the cooler is excellent, and while I did experience a small rattling noise in the first unit I received, it never once impacted the cooler’s functionality. Llano Tech Shop promptly addressed the issue with genuine hospitality and care, helping me out with my issue swiftly. Their customer service left a positive impression and I will certainly be back to purchase more of their items if I need them again!Overall, if you need an effective, reliable way to keep a high-performance laptop running cooler, the llano v12 laptop pad cooler is an excellent choice.P.S. You can even turn the RGB off for all you RGB haters.

Just what I was expecting
Cooler is well made, it’s still plastic so it’s lighter but you can tell the quality. Comes with a replacement filter and the RGB tho basic it looks great with different modes to choose from.Foam seal is next level, paired with the powerfull fan it forces air through gaps my laptop didn’t even know had. Big impact in temps and though it gets loud (you can adjust the rpm, it can be quiet too) nothing a pair of headphones can’t deal with, specially if you’re here for temps.

Amazing, Worth every penny.
Absolutely fantastic, My alienware X15 R2 likes to sit at 100c running any game and fans will scream when opening a web browser, this pc is tryna cook itself, I also undervolted it and it still hits 100c. Upon using this cooling pad i was able to get an extra 30 fps on rust, and keep my temps around 80-85c, better temps and performance, absolutely amazing. and thats having the fan speed around 80%, its loud at max but its totally doable if your around 70-80%, if you have headphones it wont bother you at all. i was skeptacle about the price, but this thing was totally worth it, its saving my pc and making it perform like new again, with great temps!

Definitely Cools!
I was a bit hesitant for the single fan option (and the foam pad that seemed like it would just constrict air flow). But this works great (even on lower settings). I gained well over 1000 points on benchmark performance testing due to cooler GPU during test.As another example, the computer I have gets really hot (like hurt my hands to touch the keyboard) when it sits with the lid closed. In the picture provided, you can see that the insided of the computer when I opened the lid was 120 degrees (ouch)! But just after 60 seconds sitting on the cooler (with the lid closed still) running at just 1/3 power (1000 RPM), you can see a significant drop in temperatures all over the computer.As for the noise level, the higher RPMs are a bit louder, but then again, so is the “cooler boost” option on my laptop, which helps, but does not cause computer to cool as much as it needs to to to efficiently run high resource VR games. With this cooler, I can us it at just 2/3 power (not very noisy), and computer cools much more than with indigineous cooler boost, and my VR games run much smoother.

Provides powerful airflow and excellent dust protection
I had been hesitant about buying this cooling pad, but a recent promotion convinced me to give it a try. After using it, I know it’s really worth it.- Cooling PerformanceI tested it with my ROG Strix G16 and Alienware X16, and the results were excellent. The fan speed reaches up to 2800 RPM, and when playing Valorant, I set my laptop to gaming mode and maxed out the cooling pad’s fan speed. With this setup, my keyboard stayed completely cool, whereas without the cooling pad, the keyboard and metal casing would get uncomfortably hot.- Dust Filter – [My Favorite Feature]One of the standout features for me is the dust filter at the air intake. It prevents dust from being drawn into the laptop, which is a huge plus. I regularly clean my laptop’s cooling system and know how dust buildup can impact performance. This filter reduces the need for frequent disassembly and cleaning, helping to maintain efficient cooling over time.- RGB Lighting & USB HubThe adjustable RGB lighting looks great—not a must-have for me, but definitely a nice bonus. The USB hub on the side also adds convenience by reducing the number of peripherals directly connected to my laptop.Downsides- Noise: At max 2800 RPM, the fan is quite loud. One night, I went downstairs to grab a drink and could still hear it from another room. However, powerful cooling comes at a cost, and I find it manageable by wearing headphones while gaming.- Portability: I often take my laptop to work or different locations, and this cooling pad isn’t very travel-friendly due to its size and thickness. If you need something highly portable, this might not be the best choice.If you’re serious about keeping your gaming laptop cool and want to minimize dust buildup, this cooling pad is absolutely worth it. While the noise and portability might be drawbacks, the strong airflow, impressive cooling efficiency, and dust protection more than make up for it.

Its expensive but worth the investment especially if you primarily use a laptop for heavy work or gaming. The temperature difference is 10 degrees on load for me and the added benefit is a practically dust free laptop due to the filter the cooler has. After 7 months of heavy use I opened the laptop last week to clean and remove dust and to my surprise there was hardly any!The build quality is superb and it has given me 0 issues so far. Highly recommended if budget allows and you’re looking to make a longterm investment in laptop cooling once and for all.

This cooling pad actually works!The Llano V12 Cooling Pad can siginificantly reduce both CPU and GPU operating temperatures, especially under gaming loads.My system: Lenovo Legion 5i Pro 12700K CPU, 3070TI GPU.I was sketpical prior to buying but using this for the past few days has proven it isn’t a gimmick. Refer photos and the before and after video showing the reduction in CPU and GPU temps when in game.At full fan speed: 2800 RPM- CPU reductions from 100 degrees down to 79/80.- GPU reductions from 85 degrees down to high mid to high 60s (observed last few days)Average reduction appears to be 20 degrees and above in some cases. Even on lower fan speeds (1200 – 1500 RPM), I see temperature drops up to 10 degrees or more. I have also observed FPS changes in certain games from 30 to 50FPS at times. Unable to confirm 100% if this is from the cooling pad, but I noticed these improvements when the cooling fan is operating at high settings.ONE THING TO NOTE: the higher fan speed setting is quite noisy. This is not really something you can avoid. Noise cancelling headphones will help, but it is still audible on higher settings (1500 and above). It can be a little bit of a challenge to hear subtle footsteps when playing extraction based shooters, or games where footstep audio is critical. Besides that, playing most games won’t be an issue and the performance boost is definitely worth the noise.
