Works perfectly and keeps my laptop cool
This cooling pad is very effective and quiet. The three fans move a lot of air, and my laptop temperature dropped by around 10–15°C when gaming. It’s lightweight, slim, and easy to carry around. The blue lights look nice, and it’s powered directly through USB, which makes it very convenient. Definitely worth the price!

Effective device at a “cool” price.
Great price, surprisingly good product. I always find it odd to see an item get 20 5-stars and then 20 1-stars. Possibly some got a an item that came off the production line faulty OR perhaps they travel with it and packed it shabbily, let their 2 year old use it as a Frisbee, etc. I guess there is truth in “YMMV” I think this item looks very sturdy. I plan on keeping it in one place. I have no kids and live alone. Sooo Hopefully, it will still be working fine in several years. Disclaimer is that I just received it today (one of the nice things about Prime membership is getting that IUPS delivery on SUNDAY. Nice surprise. My laptop is OLD – old meaning probably 7 or 8 years old and has dated technology. Dual chips and at this point in it’s life, it runs pretty HOT. I am retired, have insomnia and often doze off at 4 or 5AM with computer running, so its on pretty much 24/7 I am amazed it is still running and also know it contains a lot of info that is either very difficult to back-up/store, or just too much of a hassle to spend that much time doing so (and I’m a bit naïve about doing that. So, I plan on buying a new one in a month or so and just want to do the best I can to keep guy running until then. Heat is a big enemy of computers, especially when they start getting as hot as mine has been (prompting me to get the cooling pad, but really, it’s a goo idea to use this from day one). It will greatly increase the life and performance of your computer and it’s components. This cooler is QUIET, even more so than I expected from many reviews. The blue light? Some found it annoying, but it wasn’t at all to me and I actually think its really a nice feature that lets you know it is running, since it runs so quiet (and my hearing not the best). Well, if it runs so quiet, it can’t be putting out much air, right? Nope – nice steady stream of air – not hurricane force, but quite sufficient. I opened the box, put it under my laptop on my lap and decided to read up on the 13 pages of questions people asked about it. Just to see how it well it would work. Didn’t do any gaming, but did have a number of other programs open and viewing like facebook, some web surfing, reading mail, etc. After several hours where it would normally been almost too hot to touch, it was surprisingly COOL to the touch. Good deal! Very happy with those results and I’m thinking about getting another unit for my PS3 and/or as a back up.A couple of tips: some complained the short power cord seemed to come apart fairly easily. Most cables tend to be that way, especially those on equipment that is moved around much at all. What I do with virtually every power cable phone/USB, etc, is to take a length of electrical tape and wrap both connector ends a number of times at a length of a an inch or so centered right at where the cable meets the connector. A lot of cables have “stress relief” built into them, but I’ve had these fail as well. The tape reinforces it and helps prevent frequent sharp bending and eventual failure. I am also going to power the cooling pad with an external USB 2.1A charger so as not to draw down the battery or increase any additional heat. Probably an overkill on my part, but I have a 7 port AC powered USB charger that I use for phones and other devices. The pad IS slick and while the “feet” angle it a bit (which makes for better air flow), it also causes my laptop to tend to slide off. I plan on putting several rubber “bumpers” on the bottom of the laptop to keep it stable. Short story long, I am very pleased with the device especially with the cost and that it truly does keep my computer running cool! Would certainly recommend to others, I think you’ll be well pleased. Wish I had bought this years ago.

A well performing, no nonsense cooling pad
I’ve had this cooling pad for around 6 months now. Here are my thoughts,The cooling pad itself seems to be of decent quality. The box includes two rubber pads that you have to stick onto the pad surface to help prevent your laptop from sliding. Unfortunately, the perforated aluminum face causes these pads to slide out of position over time. A better design would have the pads pre-installed.I opted for the blue color. I like the look, but there’s no option to change colors or even turn off the light, which may become distracting while using at night. The fans seem to be of good quality. They spin fast enough to effectively cool my laptop while gaming, but slow enough to be pretty quiet. It would’ve been nice if this pad had the ability to adjust the fan speed, but for what it’s worth, I think it’s been set just right for my use case.On the back of the pad, there is one USB to power the cooling pad and another USB for passthrough. I haven’t yet tried this for data transfer, but I can imagine it’s not ideal. The included cable is, at least in my case, way too long, since my laptop has a port directly above where the cooling pad connector sits. For some people, this may be helpful, but you may want to consider getting a short cable. The pad is easy to use, lightweight and fairly comfortable in my lap during long sessions. The pad also includes two risers at the bottom for adjustment, which may come in handy for some.Overall, when you consider the excellent cooling capability, the lightweight construction, and then the price, it’s honestly a good value. It’s missing some features that you may find on more premium cooling pads, but it still has everything you need to keep your laptop from turning into an oven and that’s good enough for me.

Quiet, Effective, and Truly Worth It — A Cooler That Delivers for Work and Play
This Laptop Cooler has become a staple in my workstation and gaming setup. Slipping my laptop onto it feels like giving it a breath of fresh air. The triple-fan design really does make a noticeable difference in surface temperature, helping prevent overheating during long sessions. What really impresses me is how quiet it operates. Even under load, the fans hum softly without competing with my keyboard and game sounds. The slim, lightweight build makes it easy to carry between rooms (or even to a coffee shop) without adding bulk. It’s USB-powered, so there’s no messy extra cable. Just plug it into your laptop and go.On the few occasions I’ve pushed my machine with rendering, heavy multitasking, or gaming, the cooling pad helps keep performance more consistent. My laptop remains cooler to the touch, which feels safer for internal components over time.If I have a slight nitpick, it’s that on extremely soft surfaces (like a thick blanket or cushion), the airflow isn’t as effective. But that’s a trade-off with all external coolers. For desk use or on firmer surfaces, it works flawlessly. In short: this cooler works just as well for work laptops as it does for gaming rigs. For anyone looking to preserve performance, reduce heat stress, and keep things quiet, I highly recommend this with confidence. Very easy to use, easy to clean, and durable. I’ve used this for several years without any issue.

A mi no me molesta.Muy recomendada.

I’ve been wanting a cooling tray for my laptop for a while now, I play a lotta games and with summer coming, the warmer months are especially tough on my laptop.I spent a long while searching on Amazon for the right one and I am happy to say that this is exactly what I was looking for!I’ve seen people mention that the tray doesn’t have any grip for when you place your laptop on it and moves about freely (note that the tray does have grip underneath it though so it won’t move on other surfaces), it is true that the tray has no grip for your laptop, but your laptop should have grips underneath it already to stop it from moving about on surfaces anyway. At least mine does and I have no problem :)If not, I’m sure there’s a way you can find something to use to keep it in-place.The tray itself is good for all sizes, I was concerned about it not being big enough as my laptop is pretty large, but thankfully I had no reason to be worried, there is even a little more room to play about with. The tray has 3 fans, that light up in a shade of blue, the fans are very good, my laptop has been kept nice and cool which is a relief to all the heat coming out of it beforehand! It easily powered by your laptop via the USB cable that comes with the tray which you simply plug into a USB port in your laptop and one of the USB ports in the back of the tray, you lose a port, but you also gain one in the back of the tray. I don’t use the USB ports often, so I have no issue with this. The cable itself is very short so it is unobtrusive, just the right size!I rest the cooling tray on another normal lap tray to cushion it, currently I have it in the standing up position and surprisingly my neck hasn’t been aching as much as it used too, this seems to improve my posture somewhat where I’m looking forward rather than down all the time. The negatives:- While the fans aren’t very noisy, they’re not super quiet, but probably the quietest ones you’ll find for this price. It’s mostly just a soft whirring sound, which can be soothing at times, but occasionally it grates my nerves after a while so I just stick in my headphones and listen to some music. It’s nothing too distracting, I’m just very sensitive to noise – always have been.- The lights on the tray can only be switched off when the tray is powered off and not being used, this isn’t really a bad thing, just that the lights are brighter than I thought they’d be and they also shine out sideways of the tray as it’s mostly covered in metal mesh. I can see the lights on my walls and I have to keep reminding myself every time I move my legs it’s not someone else in the room with me xD- My biggest gripe is what the fans do, they work perfectly fine! However like others have said previously, the fans can cool your lap as well (which isn’t a bad thing), but what hasn’t been mentioned is the cool air also moves around the sides of the tray, so my wrists are constantly cold and after a time they start aching. This will unlikely be such an issue in summer when it’s warmer, but in the cooler months, it’s very noticeable and distracting. For the moment however, I’m having to put a cover the front of the tray to stop it from making my wrists cold.- A couple teeny minor gripes, the switch to turn on the tray is at the back, quite awkward to reach round and turn it on, would’ve been better at the sides, but I assume it was so it wouldn’t be easily knocked off when you go to lift it up. Also sometimes if you type too hard on your laptop, you can hear the echo of the mesh beneath your laptop echo and it’s just strange xDOverall, it’s great value for money, it may sound like a lotta negatives, but these are all minor, things that can be easily remedied with a little fiddling, nothing that requires you to spend more money, just with you being sensible about how to use it.Delivery time was very good, it arrived within two days and was packaged very well, no issues there either.I do think it’s worth buying, I haven’t tried any of the other trays, but I’ve read a lot of reviews saying this is one of the better ones and if like me, you’re reluctant to spend a lotta money on something that might not work, let me ease your thoughts by saying this is definitely worth it!

I purchased this a while ago and wanted to give it some time using it before writing a review. It has now been years and this little gadget is still going strong. It definitely works wonders in keeping my laptop cool. When it sits on the table it feels really hot but as soon as it goes on this cooling pad it cools right down. I highly recommend. It will help keep your laptop going strong for years.

Mon dernier modèle de tablette réfrigérante me paraissait efficace.
