    A21 Book for Dummies
This book was helpful in manuevering around the S21 cell phone.

  4. Paula

Some parts usefu, others don’t apply to the S21FE or are wrong or way too incomplete
Really, this book is frustratingly incomplete in some areas/aspects–too many areas/aspects–for those of us unfamiliar with recent models (say, since 2013 or so) of the Samsung Galaxy phones. Helpful for those areas it covers and perhaps for a specific segment (the S21 Ultra, perhaps? anyhow, not all S21sub-models) of S21 phone, but inadequate. Unfortunately, there seems little out there, whether in books or on the telecoms’ chat lines, that is any better for those of us jin danger of being “left behind”/”left out” telecoms’ forced phone switches as it has moved into exclusively 5G devices.

  5. Amazon Customer

    Informative
Instead of showing my husband I ordered this book. Instead of me reading it and telling him the how tos, he decided to read it himself.

  6. SANDRA E SUITE

    helped me a lot.
    Helping me learn my phone.

  7. EWV

    Very “down-to-earth” for understanding
Haven’t completely gone through the book, but when I need to know something, the answer has been there.

    Keyboard issues? Not helpful
Okay, so I use manuals that include “for dummies” in the title because, even though I’ve been using computers for 50 years, I still make . . . dumb . . . mistakes. So I figure, there’s always a good chance that, if there is a glitch, it’s my own fault. “Mistake occurs between chair and keyboard. ” But, once I’ve checked for that . . . sometimes the error / glitch remains.I switched from iPhone when I had to – 5G – to a Samsung Galaxy. Significant learning curve. Bought Galaxy for Dummies. One example / issue: I’ve had multiple problems with the keyboard. The manual has been useless in attempting to fix. Samsung manual has not been helpful. Here’s the glitch: keyboard is set on U.S. English. But sometimesa) the spacebar refuses to space;b) all kinds of foreign variations of a letter show up, e.g. for letter A , with all sorts of variants except the U.S. English A; for S, almost invariably; . . .c) many times the period symbol is . . . non-responsive.d) at one point I inadvertently did something that told the keyboard I wanted all kinds of esoteric symbols as options with keys, which would then pop up in the text at seemingly random times; I fixed this but not because of any help from this manual.e) the index is . . . not helpful. Less than two pages in re the keyboard, and those two pages pretty generic.f) the index has no listing for phone messages. I had 17 messages before I got the picture . . .g) the index has no ‘trouble shooting’ . . .h) ad infinitum…I should say that Samsung’s Galaxy help link is no better. I typed in “keyboard” and got: “Topic not found.” I’m not kidding.Of course, by the time I’d tried to work through all these issues, the return date was past…….So, caveat emptor. Buyer beware.

The book was informative and enabled an old bloke like me to understand a bit more about this electronic world we live in. BUT most important was the speed in which Amazon got the book to my home address!!!! Many thanks

  10. Mikey Mikey 34

A Perfect book to learn about Samsung Galaxy S21 5G

  11. Cathie

Easy to use love the series

  12. B. Mitchell

I haven’t had time to start reading this book, but I’m returning it and getting the Kindle version from the U.S. site instead. The book is printed on the cheapest paper possible and the photos and illustrations are in blurry black and white. The Kindle version is in nice, bright color. I think I will be more beneficial by being available on my phone … where and when I need it!EDIT: The Kindle version of this book is excellent. Easy to see, easy to understand instructions, all in all a FIVE star. Frankly, it makes the paperback version look even worse!
