Works for our needs
I bought these for my kids in grade school. They are exactly what I wanted, but I’m not sure they are for everyone. They are pretty small. I like that they are lightweight. They have a soft padding underneath that seems like it’s filled with bean bags filling. It also has a nice little handle to carry it. I like the slot to put a pencil or pen, but sometimes the kids try to write over it. I have to remind them not to do that. We don’t use them for laptops. We just use them for doing homework or just a hard surface to write on. So, I’m not sure how they do with heat. But these are perfect for our purposes. I even bought one to put in my car, for when I need to write something. I would recommend if you’re looking for something small, lightweight and simple. They are great for kids

A little small
Cheap, simple, works. But it is quite small, and only has room for 1 regular size notebook. Larger books or notepads will hang off, trying to write in one book while referencing another is virtually impossible, and I can’t imagine using a laptop with this thing. The use case is far more limited than it may first appear.

Compact and lightweight.
I sit with my computer on my lap while watching TV and the computer gets so hot and makes me so hot. I also didn’t like having an electronic device just sitting on my lap. I wanted something that was compact and not bulky to sit my computer on and this is perfect. I have a 15″ Chromebook and I didn’t want too much extra border around the edges. The Chromebook has rubber treads on the bottom so it does not slide around on the lap desk. The cushioning on the bottom has lots of tiny soft beads making it comfortable sitting on your lap. There is a handle for carrying it. It is very light weight. I keep it on the side of the couch and pull it out whenever I need to use it. You can also use this just as a lap desk for leaning on for writing or other activities. I am loving it and I use it daily. I am so glad I got it.

Para lo que vale no está mal. Las almohadillas de la base no son demasiado cómodas. La plataforma donde apoyar el ordenador resbala bastante y el ordenador se mueve mucho. Pero calidad-precio es muy correcta. Trae un asa que a mí me está siendo muy práctica para guardarla.
