Well made and beautiful
After a long search, I was excited to find this bed tray on Amazon. When it arrived, I was not disappointed. The top flips up with several different angles to choose from. I use mine for artwork and it works very well. I will say that I wish it could be elevated a bit more vertical, but I’m happy with it the way it is. The drawer is pretty small, my pencils don’t fit well in it until shortened with use. Still, not a big deal. The legs are adjustable, and unlike other buyer comments, mine seems to work just fine. The workmanship is very nice and the finish is beautiful. Overall, it was a very good find for the price, and I’m very pleased with it!

I wish it was a little bit wider..
I bought this for my keyboard/mouse while I am in the recliner due to a medical injury.The item is completely made out of MDF but it appears to be rather sturdy. It isn’t very wide though.. I have a SS Apex 7 and a Logitech G502 Hero on it. With the keyboard all the way on it, it leaves like 3″ for the mouse to move side to side.It is somewhat tight on the sides, I suspect it’ll be easier if I’m just wearing my house pants. The item does hit my knees but it’s OK.It’s decent for the price. Probably perfect for somebody skinnier than I, not great if you’re heavy set.I’m not going to use the storage drawer on the side, no idea what I would put in there..

Great quality and purpose
I use this while laying in bed for my laptop or as a food tray while watching TV. It’s made very well, sturdy/even. Came pre-built. Beautiful bamboo finish. It has adjustable legs. My favorite part is actually a locking mechanism so the legs don’t fold while using. Fits my airbook mac perfectly with adjustable table top. Came with a little drawer for storing small items. I honestly have no complaints. Would recommend!

Lots of Great Features but Leg Latches Are A Weak Link
UPDATE: I dropped my rating down from 5 stars to 3 stars. After using the desk for a little while, the poorly designed locking mechanisms on the legs have proven to be more annoying than I originally thought they would be. They do a terrible job of keeping the legs locked in place. This may have been done on purpose to try to help prevent people from accidentally breaking the legs. Regardless, they do not work. (I’ve added a close-up picture of the locking mechanism.) I dropped my rating down 1 star because of the leg latch problem. I dropped it down another star because, after reading other reviews, I discovered this was a problem that the manufacturer SONGMICS was already well aware of and stated they were going to fix long before I bought this lap desk. A year later, and they still haven’t fixed it!==========There’s a lot of cheap junk for sale on Amazon these days but every once in a while you’ll find a gem that is both inexpensive and well thought out. This is one of those gems.I was looking for something to lessen the negative impact on my body of my bad habit of reading and using my laptop in bed. I bought Bedrest Reading and TV Pillow With Arm Rests – Large Shredded Memory Foam Cushion for Pregnant Women – Lumbar, Coccyx Lower Back, Neck and Head Support – By ComfySure and this lap desk toward that end. The reading pillow helped a little but nowhere near as much as this lap desk.There are many lap desks out there to choose from. I chose this one because it had a lot of unique features, was made out of bamboo, and was inexpensive. There are so many little innovative things in this desk such as the left-hand side of the desk can be set at 5 different angles in addition to laying flat and it has a drawer built into the right-hand side. The attention to detail can be found in features such as magnets and other locking mechanisms being added to help hold various parts of the desk, including the drawer, in place when it is moved around. Plus, the piece at the bottom of the left-hand side of the desk that helps hold your laptop in place is removable. The most essential feature, however, is probably the foldable, adjustable legs. You can lock the legs at 3 different heights which really helps when trying to dial in the right viewing angle to minimize poor posture.This company makes several other lap desk models with attractive designs that allow for venting below the laptop portion of the desk. They even make a model that accommodates left-handed people. I chose this one because I am right-handed and did not want the venting in case I wanted to use the desk to write on a sheet of paper.The bamboo and construction quality are comparable to what I’ve seen of inexpensive bamboo products at Bed Bath & Beyond. I’m very happy with the quality of my desk, especially given the price. If you happen to receive a defective one, both Amazon and Songmics provide good customer service.As great as this lap desk is, there are a couple of areas for improvement:1. The locking mechanisms (latches) that are supposed to keep the legs from moving and folding could be much better designed.2. The right-hand (mouse) side of the desk cannot be angled like the left-hand side. Therefore, if you set the left-hand side at an angle, you are forced to place your laptop a little to the left-of-center of your arms and view. It would be better if the piece that helps hold your laptop in place extended farther to the right for this same reason as well.While these are areas that could be improved, I don’t think they are enough of an issue to drop the review rating down to 4 stars

De buena calidad y ajustable.

The product was assembled in a very poor way, making it impossible to open properly.Most of the screws were either too tight or extremely loose, and some couldn’t even be tightened.There is also a crack in the small black piece that is supposed to hold the laptop.Additionally, the top wooden panel, where the laptop is placed, is not properly attached to the base.
