Best mini/ budget gimbal on the market
As a full time videographer and video editor for a local company and doing my own freelance gigs on the side i have used this gimbal extensivelyI got it the same week it was available on Amazon and have probably used it for about 20 shoots-It is very durable-The battery life on it is solid. I have never ran out of battery on a single shoot except on a 8 hour + wedding where i was pushing the gimbal very hard, (i was using a full size full frame camera with a 24-70mm lens which i was zooming in and out with constantly) and even then i was able to top up the battery for 10 mins with a battery bank and continue with no problem or stress-It balances quite easily-It is much lighter and easier to use for longer durations of time compared to the DJI RS3 Pro and DJI RS4 which i was using previously-The auto lock feature is highly highly convenient and it use it a tone on every shoot-My shots come out very smooth when using it and i personally like the DJI Gimbals’ response curves a lot (i have used Weebil Gimbals in the past and could never quite 100% nail my movements with them, no matter how I customised the speed and sensitivity of them)I would say for the money you can’t get a better gimbalIt is more affordable compared to the bigger RS gimbals but feels almost exactly the same (in balance, auto locking, movements etc), except it’s just a bit smallerI would recommend it to anyone just starting out with videography or anyone that needs serious performance for a more affordable priceI would just say i wish the battery was detachable, and i wouldn’t recommend it to those who highly value the swappable batteries of the bigger RS Gimbals or the different handled/ attachments that you can use with the bigger RS gimbalsI always use my gimbals in the standard lollipop configuration so having side handles or fancy attachments has never been a deal breaker for meAll around i would say it’s a 9 out of 10

Best gimbal!
This is the best gimbal I have ever owned and I now own 2 of them. It is so lightweight and easy to use. It instantly connects to my camera via bluetooth so I can stop and start recordings from the gmbal. The auto lock and unlock feature is an absolute must! Plus it has the auto tracking? And the quick release for switching from horizontal to vertical? This gimbal has it all! Once you try this gimbal you won’t be able to go back to your old one.I am using this gimbal with my Sony A7S III and A7 IV. I rock these with no cage, small lenses such as the Sony 35mm 1.8 or the Sigma 16-28mm 2.8. If you use a cage or long heavy lenses this will not be able to balance them.Falcam offers a native quick release plate that makes this way better. And I have also added Spiderholster attachments to this stabilizer so I can mount it to my waist when not in use.This is an absolutely incredible gimbal and an amazing price. I can’t recommend it enough!

Now I can walk and run and record steady videos with my canon R5.
It does fit the R5 Mark II nicely. But I recommend using fixed focal length lenses. While it does work with the 15-35 and the 24-70 mm f2.8 lenses. you will not be able to put it on the briefcase mode as you have to sit the camera far back and your viewfinder will interfere with the movement if you try. I also had a smallrig cage for my camera and although it is designed to fit the RS4 series it would not fit the RS 4 mini. You can still screw on the plate to the bottom of your cage and use it but it would have been nice if they didn’t slightly change the sliding mechanism’s so that I could slide the camera into the gimball without needing to attach their base plate. The intelligent tracking is nice to follow a person’s head. It would be nice if they added functionality for it to track your hands instead of your face. Sure you can slightly change the composition of how it tracks you but there is a limit of how much you can point it away from your face. If they Just add ability to track hands, also add ability to track animals or vehicles as well and it would be fantastic. Overall I think I will keep this one. I had tried the RS4 and RS4 pro before and found them way too bulky. This one is smaller, more affordable and even has the ability to connect to your camera while also using the tracker. The other RS4 models you are limited to either connecting to the camera or the tracker. This one can do both. It can adjust the focus of my R5 and start stop recording with the buttons on the gimball. I tried bluetooth remote and didn’t have any luck connecting to my camera. But the USB cable does a fine job of it.

The RS4 Mini Combo is easily one of my favorite DJI releases in recent years. Don’t let the “mini” fool you because this gimbal is rock solid. It balances quickly, handles heavier setups than I expected, and keeps footage buttery smooth no matter how much movement I throw at it.What makes it stand out is the portability. It’s so light and compact that I actually want to take it everywhere. For travel or run-and-gun filmmaking, it’s the perfect grab-and-go setup. The battery life is impressive, and the combo kit makes sure you’ve got everything you need right out of the box.DJI clearly designed this with creators in mind. It takes the stress out of stabilizing shots and lets me focus on being creative instead of constantly fiddling with gear. If you want pro-level stabilization without lugging around a huge rig, the RS4 Mini Combo is a no-brainer.

Living in rural Australia, the only option to get my hands on the DJI RS 3 Combo was through an online service, and Amazon offered the best price. It’s perfect for my real estate photography, especially when paired with my Sony A7IV. Any mirrorless or DSLR camera should fit well. The only downside is that you’ll need to read the instructions first — no jumping in headfirst until you know how to use it properly!
