Great quality, functionality, style and it holds a lot. Way better than any other drainer I’ve had
NOTE: At the time I was writing this the drainer has gone up $20 in price. I received mine on 7/21/25. I don’t know that I would’ve bought it at it’s current price. After using it for 2 months my feeling about it is that it’s high quality, an efficient use of space, and very functional but with it now at nearly $80 buying it isn’t a clear cut decision. It fits perfectly into the space I have next to the sink and easily holds all of my dishes etc. It looks great and the drain pan underneath slides out easily for cleaning. Water drains away nicely. Way better than the Farberware drainer I had that wasn’t functional, was hard to clean and which the legs rusted.I don’t use the inserts on the top of the silverware section, I didn’t find them useful so I took them out.If the price isn’t a deal breaker for you it’s a great item.

Sturdy, large capacity and well designed.
Sturdy, large capacity and well designed!Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2025Size: 2 Pack(25.4″×16.7″×6.3″)First ImpressionsThis item is a huge upgrade from the two-tier dish rack I bought last year, which unfortunately rusted far too quickly. Right out of the box, this one feels much sturdier. The wire gauge is noticeably thicker and coated to help prevent rust—definitely a step up in quality.I really appreciate the thoughtful design. It has not just one, but two higher support wires that are perfect for platters, cutting boards, and other larger items. The silverware holder is also well-designed: spacious, with slightly wider slots that accommodate my round-handled utensils easily. There are even two larger slots that fit bigger knives—my butcher knife fits without issue, which is rare! One of my favorite features is the drip pan. It’s designed with a slope that guides water directly over the edge of my sink. Unlike the flat mats that just let water pool underneath, this setup actually works the way it should.I’ve only had it for a week, so I’ll be sure to update this review if I notice any rust or other issues—but so far, I’m really impressed!

Sturdy Rack that Holds a Lot of Dishes
Update: Owned for 6 months now and there are absolutely no signs of rusting or weird mold appearing despite daily use. It’s going good! For years I’ve been using an Oxo plastic dish rack, and while I enjoyed using the rack initially, I found that it really didn’t suite my needs after a year of use and that plastic – as durable as it is – tends to break down over time. Additionally, when dishes are sitting on a rack that is essentially a full board of plastic, they don’t seem to dry as quickly as dishes that are on a more vented set up, similar to metal racks in an oven. The Kitchenaid full sized dish rack suited our needs perfectly. I can stack a huge number of dishes on the racks, dishes drip dry quickly, and all the water gathers on a plastic tray under the rack and can be easily emptied into the sink. To keep from having to tip out the tray myself, I set one end of the rack up on small building blocks so the water drips into the sink using gravity. The rack is very sturdy, hasn’t rusted anywhere, and can easily hold all the dishes I use for meal prep and after eating a meal with my family. Dishes dry quickly and effectively, and the entire set up is very attractive – it looks way better than the all plastic set up from my old Oxo dish rack. Overall, this is a sturdy and good looking dish rack to have on the counter. While it’s definitely pricier than other racks I’ve seen, it’s overall durability and look makes it well worth the cost.

Quality drainer but design needs improvement
This dish drainer is the perfect size for my small kitchen and 2-person household. It looks great, cleans up easily, and drains perfectly into my sink. It is also very stable, and doesn’t ever tip over, not even when it’s balanced unevenly. Both the utensil holders and the cup/ glass holders are problematic, however. The utensil holders are fine for a few small forks and spoons, but anything longer or heavier than a salad fork will either topple out and/or cause the utensil insert to pop out. The cup holders are equally useless: due to their large size and close proximity to each other, they can only hold 2 (maybe 3) mugs/ glasses at a time.

Great Product
I bought this for my mom. She loved it.Ya’ll: it’s REALLY big. It holds a ton of dishes and pots. I thought the whole thing was going to be stainless steel so when it first came I was disappointed. The majority of this caddy is plastic with some very thin stainless steel touches but honestly, after using it: it works and it looks nice. I’m not gonna complain. The product came super fast, which I appreciated. The slant on the tray is perfect and water drips into the sink as it’s supposed to. It doesn’t pool at the bottom and get stinky. It’s just a good product all the way around. I don’t love the color personally but my mom did so that’s all that matters. Good job KitchenAid.

Perfect for large pans and sturdy. The spoon rack is to the back. Would have been convenient if it was to the side
