Improved over the original in almost every way possible.
Highly recommend it over the smaller size, they have improved so much!!Pros:Bigger tankMuch faster cooling 15 mins vs 30 mins, for the same amount of liquid.Auto sense – super nice, perfect slushy each time so far, without having to mess with temp, and still adjustable to your preference.Cools much better, when there’s only a serving left, the smaller one it would turn back to liquid. The cooling cylinder extends much further, and seems to be why it’s better at this.Slightly better at self cleaning since auger spins faster.Area to add liquid is bigger. The dispensing nozzle has an in between setting for emptying the cleaning water now, to not have it gush out and get every where.Has glides in the back, so you can lift the front and slide it back or forward on the counter.Cons:Bigger( obviously)Slightly more to clean.Slightly louderDoesn’t come in any standard kitchen colors, while I like fun colors, ours sits on the counter and id rather it match the other appliances. Not related, but the jolly rancher syrups are fantastic with this machine, and shelf stable.

Upgraded and Better!
Definitely worth the upgrade. If I knew this was coming out last year, I would have waited. Not to say the old one isn’t good, because it was during its time, but this is leaps and bounds better. It pretty much corrects all of the errors in the old one. It’s bigger, it slushies faster and the best part is no more guessing how much alcohol to add to get the ratios right. Add in what u want and slushies assist takes care of everything. Even the texture of the slushie is velvety smooth compared to last year. I got this on sale for $399 Sunday. Even if I didn’t, it would be worth the upgrade. I will definitely be grabbing another one in black Friday!!!

Leaps and bounds better than the smaller ones!
Ok, this machine is a game changer!Points i want to make:- 52 oz simply limeade which has 182g of sugar pre chilled- 2.25 cups tequila, room temp and .5 cup triple sec, again room temp. I had to run to store to buy them.- Start to finish was 28 minutes even with 20% alcohol and sugar combined and unchilled booze!!!!- Slush assist sensed for first 15 minutes then set to to 3 lights before max temp, so it could still get thicker and colder!- The vessel is easier to clean as the opening on the back is MUCH bigger. Also there seems to be a gasket where the plastic is folded. The best part though, the ice crystals are just like a pro machine. They’re very tiny and the slushie feels so smooth on the tongue. The other machine never felt like that no matter what I slushed. Very very happy with my upgrade.

Noisy but wonderful
I have zero regrets purchasing this! The speed in which it makes slushi’s or milkshakes is top notch. It’s a little noisy for my liking but the product it produces makes me look past it! It’s easy to use, worth the money with the slushi assist function and user friendly!

I have one of the original Slushi’s from 2024 and they’ve made several improvements from that design.1. The pour spout area for adding ingredients is much bigger so it’s not as prone to spills.2. The original at the back of the vessel had a little lip that would get funky and gross (water flossers clean that btw). No funky lip on this model.3. You can go higher abv on this model. This is both a plus and a minus if I’m being honest haha4. Slush assist is great. Literally just one button and the machine figures it out. You can still adjust it if you disagree with the machine’s settings.5. It’s more clear on what you need to do if there’s an issue. If you need to add more water, it will tell you directly, as opposed to the old version that had either ascending or descending lights depending on what it needed.6. The vessel is almost twice the size of the original. More slush=more fun7. Start to slush time is greatly reduced from the original. I don’t have any specific stats but I was surprised at how quick this one was.8. The auger moves quicker on this model. Probably partially why it slushes faster, but also means the rinse function is more effective, which makes it easier to clean9. The plastics on this model feel thicker and sturdier than the original. Supposedly the original’s parts were ok to put in the dishwasher, but I never trusted them to not warp on me. These parts I would trust in my dishwasherTwo things to consider- it does take up more counter space, length, width and even height wise, so keep that in mind when deciding where to put it. Like the original, it needs 4 inches of breathing room on the back and sides so it doesn’t overheat. Also, the instructions now say to mix your ingredients before adding to the machine, so make sure you pick up a gallon-sized pitcher when you eventually cave and order this one

Great Product!
We love this slush machine. Freezes quickly and easy to add more product. It is so easy to clean and made very well. I had a commercial one before and this Ninja one is hands down a better slush machine for a fourth of the price! We have used it with cans of hard seltzer and canned vodka drinks and they taste amazing! Works great with just a couple cans or a dozen. Another great Ninja Product!

Slush Assist is a nice touch
I was definitely intrigued by the original slush machines, but given that there was no way to do zero sugar drinks (sugary drinks were a necessary ingredient), I had to pass. This version is a major improvement in terms of functionality as now Slush assist allows you make those zero sugar drinks. While the improve storage capacity is great and it’s easier to clean, I do think it is a bit too expensive at this price point. It also suffers from the classic Ninja problem of being quite loud. Nothing like the Creami range of devices, but I wish it could be quieter.
