    Ninja NJinuity
What a great new appliance! My best friend got one last year and told me she uses it outside on her porch – all year long. I thought it looked small, but she said it handles a whole chicken, brisket, etc.I just love smoked chicken, smoked beef, smoked turkey, etc., so I decided to follow her lead and I got a Ninja Woodfire, too. The first thing I tried to smoke, I overcooked because I followed a suggestion to go to 205F internal temperature. I won’t do that again, since we like our meat medium rare.We have been very pleased with the results – the added dimension of the smoked flavor is exquisite.I’m not expert yet at judging the cooking time, but as long as I have a little flexibility, it’s going to be just fine!I am using and liking the internal thermometer – that way I can see when it’s nearing the target temp, without opening the cover to stick in a meat thermometer and losing smoke and heat. I think that’s a great feature, worth the extra cost for it.As far as assembly, the hardest thing was getting it safely out of the box with just one person. It’s pretty heavy. It was easy to get the handles on and easy to see all the tape, etc., that needed to be removed before first use.I’m so enamored with the smoking feature that I haven’t really tried much of the others. I did add cauliflower “steaks” to the griddle alongside something else, and they turned out great, but mostly it’s just been the meats (brisket, leg of lamb, chicken). I’ll try to add to this if I use the air fryer, etc.I’m very pleased with this cooker. There’s so much about it that is well-designed. I expect it to continue to be a mainstay, especially while I can roast/grill/bake/smoke outdoors on our deck, leaving the kitchen cool all summer.

    YOU WANT THIS
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This unit is amazing. I’ve always wanted to have a smoker and this one is just right. Big enough to provide for a crowd, but compact enough to move around. It takes trial and error to figure out cook times, but I have found that the book that comes with the unit has cook times that are way too long. Ribs, done in 25 minutes, and they come out mighty tasty. Tri-tip, done in 45 with a great juicy,  smoky taste. Pork roasts come out amazing. The pellets that come with the Ninja are so good. It’s ease of use is amazing, it does all the work for you.I’ve made quesadillas, grilled hot dogs, and baked beans in this thing. It does it all. I can’t say enough about it. Get it, you won’t be disappointed.Functionality:So easy to useCook time:Super short cook times, almost half the recommended time.Cooking ability:Does it all, and very well.Temperature control:SO EASY, up down temp controlSmell:AMAZING, pellet quality is so good.Flavor:YUM, it makes everything amazing

    Baddie Ninja
First let me start by saying that mu husband and I, have never thought we would be buying a electric grill. We hear so many negative things vs the traditional way but this has turned me into a believer. This thing is amazing! We love it and it fits our needs perfectly. We have added smoked to just about anything such as shrimp, chicken kabobs, hots dogs. The air fryer function works great! The fries came out nice and crispy . We smoked wings and then finish them off in the air crisp setting. We also smoked spare ribs just over the 4th of July and damn! They were luscious, fall off the bone. It is a a bit of learning curb still. We haven’t used all the other functions but used it enough to make a review. It’s also light and very portable. Eye catching and very beginner friendly. Fun to use. We took it to a cookout and everyone asked about it and It stood up the charcoal grilled being used that day. I would say if you have small space , for small gatherings it’s perfect.

    Incredible Grill!
I have been a Ninja fan for awhile now. I have a slow cooker and an air fryer and both have been excellent and I love the modern design and cooking technology.I recently needed to move to an apartment and instead of having a deck, I now have a patio on the 21st floor. Gas grills are forbidden but I was told an electric grill is fine. With the summer now here I started looking for a solid electric grill. The advantage of a gas grill is the flame and that smoky flavor you get, plus the charring. I honestly thought that an outdoor electric grill would be vastly disappointing in comparison because you won’t get the same flavors. I found two options, one being this Ninja Woodfire and the other a standard electric grill with no frills. The latter is around $120 cheaper. What brought me to the Ninja was my trust in the products but also the addition of the smoker and the ability to circulate wood pellet smoke around the food. This is a game changer for me.Setting it up was as easy as removing it from the box and assembling the two side handles. That’s it. It comes with instructions and recipes plus two bags of food grade wood pellets. I literally could not wait to try it out so marinaded some chicken and picked up some burgers, hot dogs, asparagus and corn on the cob.I filled the side pellet compartment as instructed but that was a mistake! You do not need to fill it all the way up. I would say half is more than adequate. My patio was smoking like crazy and the smell was overwhelming. Maybe if you were to use this on a yard it would be fine but for an apartment patio, hell no. My apartment smelled of burning wood for a good few hours! Not sure my neighbors would be happy either. I now limit the wood pellets and smoker.Everything has cooked brilliantly well. The chicken was moist and tender but flavorful, the burgers charred and smoky, the asparagus was fantastic! Much better than on a frying pan. The corn I decided to smoke and it was delightful. It really added depth to corn. I was worried about charring or lack thereof but it does a great job.The only thing I do not like about this is the clean down. As the top has a fan, you can expect oil and grease to travel everywhere and it does. Luckily there is a oil tray at the back that can be removed and cleaned. The grill plate can be removed and had washed. You just need to wait a good while for it to cool down first. The rest just needs wiped down with a sponge or cloth. The upper inside of the lid is a mess and can’t really be cleaned but I guess that’s the same for all grills or barbecues and probably adds to the flavor over time. I also wish the power cable was a foot longer. It’s pretty short but an extension cord will remedy that.In all, I’m super happy with this purchase. It’s not cheap but an excellent product if you are unable to have a gas grill at home.

So good food with this – absolutely better than a standard BBQ !

  7. Ulysses e Isamara

Funciona muito bem, mas é uma air fryer! O churrasco é o mesmo. Não achei a defumação nada extraordinário.
