Practical and easy to follow
This was a very motivating book. The 10 we plan really works. It is simple with daily exercises that build confidence, balance, and strength without needing a gym. Perfect for staying independent and feeling younger through movement.

practical, low-risk exercises
As we age, staying active becomes even more important for our health but it also carries more risk. Injuries take longer to heal, and recovery can be difficult. That’s why I really liked this book. It includes practical, low-risk exercises that can be done safely and focuses on movements essential for maintaining independence in daily life.

Great information for Seniors.
I think this is a very good book. Since I am a senior citizen, I realized the amount of work, sleep, exercise, well, just about everything we do has much more impact on how we feel than when our bodies were younger. (Our bodies are less forgiving.) This book explains the effects of eating more protein to maintain muscle health, along with sleep, hydration, and much more. It then lays out a 70-day workout plan to rebuild your strength, mobility and overall well-being. This is a great book, but I will mention to the Author that there is a small formatting error in Week 2, Day 14, Reflection & Re-test that they may want to fix.

Common sense roadmap to better health
The Strength & Mobility Boost Workbook For Seniors: A 10 Week Plan to Improve Strength, Stamina, Balance, and Mobility for Lasting Independence, offers seniors a roadmap to a happier and more productive life. The book is centered around a simple premise: train your muscles, protect your cardiovascular capacity, maintain your balance and mobility, and you dramatically improve your odds of living not just a long life, but a capable one.The author advocates for a common-sense, science-driven program that enables individuals to improve and maintain their health and ability to perform the basic tasks of life. If you want to be able to take a walk in the park, pick up your grandchildren, and cook your own meals when you’re 90, this is a perfect map to those goals. The bulk of the book is a 10-week plan that gently shares a step-by-step set of exercises that will improve what the author refers to as the “Longevity Triad”: increasing muscle mass, oxygen efficiency, and mobility. This book offers an excellent, step-by-step, common-sense approach to improving the quality of life for any senior experiencing a decline in their physical abilities.
