Stay Away! Do not make the mistake I did
Unit arrived in perfect time so let’s be clear about that.I do not use canned goods often so I let in sit in the kitchen drawer until the day came to use it a month or two later. Trust me it did not work on use number 1.Not in any way would it grab the lip of the can, and on the rare occasion it would, turning it was nearly impossible. Went to Youtube. saw a video about simple disassembly and oiling the area beneath the gear and blade and did just that.Result: Failure. Same behavior as before.Placed in trash bin.
