(Don’t) Drop the Mic–it’s actually awesome.
A holiday gift to my wife a couple years ago. Awesome, pink, and pretty lights! Oh, the mic itself? Great quality on the mic, voice comes through, durable, and lightweight! Great clarity on sound and has been a boon for streaming/D&D nights! Absolutely pleased with this purchase.

    Great sound quality
Love how easy Razer products connect and work together. Setup for this was really easy, it looks great, and everyone from my coworkers to friends on Twitch have been saying how vastly better my mic quality is. Also really nice how easy it is to mute with the simple button on the top. Overall it’s been a really great value compared to other mic options out there.

    Good new Mic
Bought this to replace my old razer mic that the usb slot kept getting damaged this one has been going strong without that issue.

Good mic, average performance for a premium price
This is one of the better microphones I have used and the RGB is a nice touch. But there is the catch that Razer overprices their products but this is a decent price overall. The sound quality is pretty good but the blue snowball mic I have has a similar level of quality for much less money and. It’s not too bulky and pretty light weight, it does not weigh down the arm it’s installed on either. It has pretty good functionality between the Razer software. I love the gain control knob and two to mute options which are very convenient. To summarize, the fancy lights and the controls are good, I would say spend more money on a HyperX mic or save some money and get the Blue Snowball if the controls and RGB aren’t important.

    Great mic
Sound quality is great when I speak into it. Light weight for easy mount. Looks sleek and cool with the chroma lighting. Better quality than its predecessor.

  7. Adam Lee

    Sounds great and light-weight.
Sounds great and super light-weight. Won’t bog down your mic stand. Also really bright if you want it to be. Plug and play. Razer have made some vast improvements with their software.

Garbage, you may get a good one if you are lucky
Is so inconsistent with its quality. Friends recommended this mic to me as theirs sound really good, so i ordered it. With the exact same settings it sounds like dog water. constantly have issues with the garbage synapse not reading it either, or when it does it defaults all my settings. why is this so bad???

I purchased this for my boyfriend as a birthday gift. He loves playing games with his friends online, and figured he may appreciate this as an upgrade from his headset. And wowee did he ever! The aesthetic of the RGB colours alone was much cooler than either of us anticipated, and the customization is excellent. The sound quality is also noticeable, diminishing keyboard sounds and providing a much more crisp higher quality recording of his voice. I would suggest getting a boom arm for it, as that definitely improved the quality, but those aren’t typically too expensive. Also the top mute button is amazing; from the girlfriend’s perspective, it is really easy to check in with him without disturbing his game play. Definitely a splurge for a microphone, but worth it for a nice gift for someone who would appreciate and use it!

Great mic, sounds great, very clear and can be easily mounted to a boom arm, too!

Mic has been wonderful apart from Razer sending me a broken cable and then not even offering to replace it when I phoned them and complained about the cable breaking 3 weeks into using it.
