Solid Value
I own five of this exact case. I use them for photography equipment, carrying various camera bodes, lenses and other accessories. I have tried and own a lot (a whole lot) of camera cases, and I have to say that the overall value for the money of the Pelican brand products, you cannot go wrong. The overall quality of these cases is great. You can tell that it’s a solid case from the start. When empty, it is much lighter than others in it’s class, but the durability does not suffer because if this, it’s still solid. I use mine for archery events and travel (globally) with them – a lot. They have been tossed around, dropped, and even run over by a side-by-side ATV – and it has survived and kept my equipment safe and spotless. I cannot really say enough good things about the Vault line from Pelican. I even have two of their longer cases to transport bows in – again – they have all been used HARD and ABUSED as well, and outside of normal scratches and dings, they are still going strong! I’ve had some for as long as I can remember now, and not a single one has any issue that would render it unusable. The latches have all held up well. The wheels still spin freely and smoothly. The inside of the case is nice and soft, and you can customize it for just about any use case. I can fit a lot of equipment in these things. Overall, I highly recommend these cases – you cannot go wrong at this price point. I believe you get just as much protection and quality from this case as you would with ones that are double the cost – and I can say that with confidence, as I own and have used those other cases.

Great travel case
I recently purchased the Pelican Vault V525 Hard Case for my upcoming destination photo shoots in Europe and Hawaii, and I’m very pleased with it. The case is exceptionally sturdy and well-constructed, offering excellent protection for my gear. Perfect size for my 2 cameras and 4 lenses and several other accessories. Very durable and lightweight. The padding on the inside easily fits my gear. Good design. Very secure.

sturdy and easily customizable case for gear
I purchased this case to hold my AV equipment and I am very happy with it. It holds my camera and lenses and accessories nice and snug and I love how customizable it is. No cutting foam so If you change your gear set up you just reconfigure the inside. Its a very sturdy case, I dont worry about my expensive equipment in this

Top Notch Durable Case, Great Flexibility Inside
This case is the size of an approved carry-on roller bag but some regional jets have really small overhead bins. I had to plead with flights attendants to put it in their closet up front. Otherwise, this is a very durable case with movable dividers that worked terrifically for two camera bodies, three lens, and miscellaneous stuff like extra natures and chargers.

Not as good as a Seahorse
I give it 4 stars because it’s probably better than your average case. I love the pads compared to foam. The pads will hold up better and you can store more things in it. And the straps for the pads are nice to keep things in like longer lenses. Before this case I had a Seahorse case which was the same size, but the Seahorse surprisingly had bigger wheels, the pull up handle lock and function was better and the locks were nicer because it’d be trickier for someone like a toddler to get into it, and just the case seemed more sturdy than the Pelican. I just couldn’t find the same size pads (not foam) that I wanted which is why I had to make the switch to a Pelican. Overall 👍🏻

Good storage, I recommend the standard divider
The weathersealing is good on this one, the design is sturdy and the latches secure as you would expect from Pelican. Perfect size for my camera kit, I’m able to take all the lenses, storage, and accessories I need for daily photography easily in this one.

Pelican Vault 525 w/Dividers
I’d been needing another hard case for camera equipment. I have two Pelican 1510. Very good cases. But I didn’t want to spend that much this time around. I had this V525 in my ‘Save For Later’ for $189. Got a notice that the price dropped to $129. Ordered it right away. It’s the same size as the 1510. The latches are different but easier to open. No steel on the holes for locks. No automatic purging for altitude. But that’s fine for my application. The dividers are just OK. They work but the Velcro is weak and are a bit flimsy. All in all, the case is going to serve its purpose as protection for trips in the car.

Although it is a bit heavy, this is a super amazing “roller bag” that meets the criteria for carry-on on an aircraft. It is very robust and, with the dividers, it works great for protecting items like cameras and sensitive equipment. Not much more to say. Very satisfied.

I upgraded from the ‘Amazon basics’ version which only came with foam inserts.This is on a very different level. It’s lighter yet sturdier, the dividers are fantastic and this for me is way better value than the more expensive pelican air 1535.Get this, protect your stuff and keep it all together.
