Performs like a tripod costing thousands more
This tripod is heavy, yes, but its one of the reasons it performs so well, like a Sachtler (Funny, just saw one on the set of the Great British Baking Show as I was typing this) or Vinten that costs a whole lot more. Not enough weight means jerky panning and tilting, at least in my opinion. The mid-level spreader is a nice plus when setting up for a shot on uneven terrain. I greatly prefer it to a ground spreader. One of my favorite features is the ball head. The handle to loosen the ball is very large, allowing me to (balance the head and) tighten it down quickly and securely. The motion on the head is very nice, too, approaching a pricy fluid head. The clips to hold the legs together while the tripod is collapsed aren’t very heavy so they’ll fail with heavy use, but I’ve never had a tripod with these types of clips so I’m not too worried about them breaking. The rest of the tripod is very well made. The locks are sturdy. All in all, a VERY nice tripod with truly professional features at an amazingly reasonable price. I expect to get very good use and great videos out of mine. A beautiful pan is well worth the weight, always.

Value, easily adjustable and versatile
Total overkill. 😇I purchased a Canon R5 Mark II with plans of hanging the Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8 on it. I didn’t realize the setup would weigh over 4 lbs. The Neewer TP37 handles that with no problem.What’s impressive is how well thought out the setup is. The plate comes with 2 different size tripod screws. There is even a provision to store the unused screw. (I’ll admit I’ve lost loose parts before.) The QR plate easily adjusts to balance the weight of the lens as is the leveling of the plate. Also, when adjusting the QR plate, the “quick release plate insurance switch” gives a level of security. The whole unit is incredibly solid. Being left handed, I appreciate the ambidextrous pan bar handle.This is truly an amazing value for the money.

Very nice tripod for under $90
I am impressed with the stability of this tripod. Although I thought others were exaggerating about the weight of this tripod, it is a bit heavy. Two things I wish were different: 1) that the zipper on the bag was larger and 2) that the spreader device was made of aluminum rather than plastic. Other than that, this tripod will be very useful; the bag Is nicely padded. It’s not as robust as my Manfrotto tripods; I was hoping the quick release plate (QRP) would be compatible with my more expensive tripods, but alas, no… Since the legs are aluminum, most of the weight must be with the rather robust head? 20-30 years ago, a tripod with this head would have been four times or more the cost of this NeeWer tripod!

High-Quality, Good Price, Works Well, Looks Professional, & Impresses Potential Clients
A high-quality, professional-looking, smooth-moving, TALL easy-to-use tripod that works well with my Panasonic HC-X20 video camera. I’m able to secure my camera with two different-sized bolts rather than one. There are swiveling half rings at each bolt head to tighten the bolts, so coins/quarters are no longer required: NICE! There is some spring-loaded (I guess) action in the head that makes the camera point in unexpected, unintended directions, but I guess/hope it’s something I will get used to, figure out how to use, and come to l❤️ve.I will update this review if any issues rear their ugly heads 👹 or if want to praise Neewer even more 😁

Okay, mal ehrlich: Ich hab jahrelang gefilmt und mich ständig mit diesem wackeligen Billo-Fotostativ rumgeärgert. Schwenks wie aus dem Zitteraal, ständig am Rumgeschraube, und bei jeder neuen Einstellung war irgendwas wieder schief. Jetzt, mit meiner Sony Alpha7iv und ’nem Rode Mic, musste echt was Besseres her – aber halt nix, wofür ich ’ne Niere verkaufen muss. Und was soll ich sagen? Das NEEWER Basic 74″ hat’s voll rausgehauen. Nach 6 Monaten und locker 20 Videos bin ich ernsthaft Fan!Was kann das Teil?Also, komplett aus Alu – hält also auch, wenn’s mal ruppiger zugeht (und ja, ich hab’s getestet). Bis 188 cm Höhe, das reicht auch für Leute mit Überlänge. Das Highlight ist aber der Fluidkopf, zwei Achsen, super easy zu wechseln und trägt bis zu 5 Kilo. Wasserwaage drin, Panorama-Libelle drin. Plus: Tragetasche, Kameraplatte und sogar ne Handschlaufe. I selected this tripod for its height and since its for a non-commercial team, multiple people operate it. It is rugged and stable and comes with very good carry case. I got it in offer for around 250AED. The product finishing is not like the high end tripods but the fluid head and base are very stable.
