I’ve been using LaCie drives for a number of years now and they have been nothing short of reliable and sturdy. Plug and play ready, easy to setup and use, and most importantly easy on the pocket book. They are not cheap, but they are so worth the money. The large capacity is perfect for daily backups and is multi system compatible.

Great little (emphasis on the little) drive for a good price considering the size and capacity. I changed to a longer USB-C cable for convenience, but I already had it on hand. The short one is better if you want to save space in your briefcase, but I use this in the house.

It is heavy !
For me it works but seems to drain fast my MacBook Air battery ( don’t know if it’s the hard drive or the MacBook itself) and it is heavy in mi opinion.
