Excellent Deal For The Price…
Phone is actually an insane value for the money. If you are looking for a cheap smartphone that has the power to get the job done, this is it. I was actually pretty shocked by how smooth the phone runs basic apps and by its ability to play some simple-moderate graphic games. Phone came with little to no bloat apps pre installed. Calls, texts, and data all worked with Sim swap perfect for me. However if you are reading this to consider the potential issues you may face, I have them for you….The camera quality is pretty terrible. I’ve had a bunch of smartphones and this one is challenged in that area. Photo quality is generally blurry, struggles greatly in anything but perfect lighting, and it just looks potato like. The speakers are sort of weak and not very loud if you are trying to call in busy environments often. I struggle to hear people on the highway in my car on speakerphone. The speakers on mine also have issues only about a month in. They make a static sound every once in awhile that’s a bit strange sounding. It happens when I plug in earbuds also so I assume its something physically wrong haha. (Bluetooth earbuds solve issue, its also not a deal breaker)Display smoothness is only good when the device is set to 90htz adaptive refresh rate. This is also not a super big deal to just leave the phone in the faster display refresh rate… But it does cause battery drain. When the phone is in 60htz it just feels extremely laggy and cheap.Launcher is kinda basic and doesn’t allow for much customization, I highly recommend switching the launcher to something else. (If you like to lock your android phone or wake it with taps on the home screen, its in the accessibility settings for wake and a different launcher can allow the locking feature.Colors of display are a bit washed out, I put the display into full warmth instead of cool… And also turned on a little bit of night lighting to warm the screen to a more average looking color setup.Battery life is ok but could be just a hair better in my opinion. (I still get great battery life, its just not a 2 day phone for moderate to heavier users.)Bluetooth in the car (at least in my car) didn’t work with hands free calling. I had to just disable calling over Bluetooth and use the phones speakerphone instead to make it work out. There has been moments when I get some strange glitches or issues but it almost never freezes or anything super major. *** For example: one time I was using an app, went back into the app after being on the home screen and the whole app was just a completely black screen. I then swipped out of the app and then went back to it for a second time and it displayed everything fine and normal. Its little silly stuff like that once in awhile. But its nothing I have felt “ruins” anything.Overall this about all the cons I struggled with and I still enjoy the phone thus my positive stars. I do feel its a serious value to usefulness ration. I plan on keeping the phone and using it for at least a year or 2.I purchased this device on sale for 74.99 USD. The value, the gaming, the battery, the modern version of andriod, the non-bloat filled OS, and the semi smooth experience… Is already enough to make this a good deal. I really like what HMD is doing with their devices.I would highly recommend this device.Don’t forget to also check out HMDs more powerful devices like the HMD fusion (which is super unique) and the HMD skyline if your in the market for something a bit more premium and luxury.Have a great day! Happy shopping.

Amaing Value with realistic expectations.
The HMD Vibe is an absolutely amazing deal for just $100. For the price, the performance was fantastic, smooth and responsive, delivering a solid experience overall. The camera, while functional, definitely doesn’t offer great quality, but that’s to be expected at this price point. It does the job in a pinch, but don’t expect top-tier visuals. Otherwise, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for something budget-friendly without compromising too much on performance.

Troubled Phone
Does not work well with hearing aid. Randomly drops mobile connection. Volume often drops to zero.If I had known of these issues ahead of time I would not have purchased this phone.

Decent Budget Phone.
Phone is okay. Fast for the price. Just wish it got more updates and the screen was better.

Fantastic Phone for those who don’t care for social media/ or use a ton of apps.
Fantastic Phone for those who don’t care for social media/ or use a ton of apps.I use YouTube in a browser as well as Twitter and do not have the apps enabled/installed natively. Battery life is phenomenal, and performance stays smooth with no stupid notifications.Had to perform system updates out of the box including a OS Update, but honestly it didn’t take long. Worked out of the box with my Carrier (Verizon) and has little to no Data connectivity issues.Bluetooth seems hit or miss, but that might be my headphones, but thankfully this phone still includes a 3.5mm Jack.Phone has a good amount of storage for Videos or Music, so I download videos for viewing in areas where Verizon doesn’t cover. The screen is perfectly usable, bright, colorful, and smooth. Watching content on here is a comfortable experience. The built in speakers are good enough for what they are, usable. The phone does not seem to support Wireless Charging or Fast Charging, which is fine. The standard charging on USB-C is plenty fast enough for me.The Camera is where this phone falls short though. Extremely grainy and dull, it even has issues scanning QR Codes from screens. While I don’t necessarily mind that myself, I know others will have an issue with that. Keep that in Mind.Personally, I think a model of this phone *without* a camera would be pretty cool. This Phone has no NFC reader, so tap to pay or Google wallet is unusable on here, which is fine by me.The flashlight is pretty bright, and works well (As it should).

Avoid Not Recommended – Nice Hardware But Silly – It Locks Up If You Look At It Sideways
Not recommended. Operating system is buggy. May not be because of the software, or hardware, but mine could not activate any voice recognition features and the touch keyboard was not very sensitive; as well the system was very slow and cumbersome.I did use the phone for several months. The unit seems to be very well made and well finished. The screen is nice and the construction is really nice quality. I had to stop using it because of the many issues with the operating system. I use Android in other devices and never have had so many issues with other devices that I had with this particular unit.I do not recommend it due to the cumbersome operating system and difficulty of use. Strange because I have other Android devices and never have had these problems with other devices. For example trying to turn the phone on after turning it off sometimes will take five to ten minutes, I kid you not. The phone is too cumbersome for any use beyond extreme emergency use and that said, it is so cumbersome to use, in an emergency it would be actually dangerous to rely on.Trying to activate the camera has locked up the phone for over ten minutes at a time. This is just silly. Two stars for the quality of the hardware but again, this phone is close to being unusable because of the operating characteristics of the phone. Good battery life, but why would that matter if the phone is not usable, having a phone on that cannot make calls or take photos is silly.
