I got this for my dad as a bit of a ha-ha gift, and it was a hit. My mom makes pizza a lot, so it felt very appropriate.It works well for cutting a thin pizza with relatively flat toppings. But that is not how my family does pizza, as a general rule. I’m pretty sure we just pile the works on there and pray it’s edible.The space between the ‘plate’ of the saw and the bottom of the saw is not large enough for easy slicing for any of our standard pizzas. I’m not sure it would even do well on a simple meat lovers pizza from Papa Johns, since it seems determined to catch on each and every lump and DRAG it across the whole dang pizza.Also, if you’re one of those people with the overly stuffed utensil drawers, be advised this will make them even more difficult to open. It doesn’t necessarily take up that much room, it’s just thick and awkward in the drawer, and suddenly you’re rearranging all your spatulas again so you can fit one little pizza cutter. You can’t just shove it in on top of stuff and try to work the drawer closed, you have to actually commit to putting it in the drawer neatly like a proper, organized adult.As far as a standard slicer goes, it’s pretty decent. You might need a second pass or so through the pizza just to make sure it got through the crust, but I’ve found that to be the case with many many pizza cutters.There is also more cleaning involved, just because it’s not a standard pizza cutter and there are some little nooks and crannies for all your tomato sauce to find.We mostly pull this out for company now and they get a good laugh out of it. And then we get a laugh out of them working to get it through their pizza. Should’ve used less sausage, Aunt Carol.

Function and Form, excellent gift
Received as a fathers day gift, it is super sharp, seems thicker than normal cutters so nice and sturdy, and cuts better than any other wheel I’ve had. As an added bonus (even if its not by design), if you spin it right, it’ll make a little metallic whirling noise like a real circular saw. The shield comes off for cleaning but it is a little difficult to get it completely clean. overall this is an awesome gift for the handyman and it works extremely well.

More fun than functional
I bought this because when our “traditional” pizza cutter broke, I showed this one to my husband and he excitedly gasped, “Is that a CIRCULAR SAW PIZZA CUTTER?!” It made his face light up like a little kid’s on Christmas. So we got it.It is very cute. It looks, feels, and moves like a miniature circular saw. It was ready to use out of the box, and it’s relatively easy to take apart to wash (the manufacturers were pleasantly thoughtful when it came to making sure you can clean this thing properly).However, it did not come with a blade cover, so when you’re not using it, there’s just a sharp blade right there in the open. This made storing it very difficult. Because of its unique shape, it doesn’t fit into any silverware drawer organizers. You can’t hang it on a hook. There’s too much plastic and not enough metal to stick it to a magnetic knife holder. Tossing it in a drawer with a pile of other utensils is dangerous because of the exposed blade. So how the heck are you supposed to store the thing?It also, sadly, does not cut very well. The blade is sharp but hard to maneuver due to the shape and size of the “handle”. It’s also a bit hard to see where exactly the blade is while you’re cutting, so it’s hard to know if you’ve cut all the way through your pizza or not.Overall, this was a very cute gift and it makes us smile, but it’s not very practical. We bought a “normal” pizza cutter with a blade cover from the grocery store. We’ll keep this for the giggles. This cutter would be great as a gift for a carpenter, builder, or as a white elephant gift for holiday parties. But don’t rely on it as your main tool for pizza slicing!

Nice cutter for arthritis sufferers.
Love this pizza cutter. I have arthritis in hands and wrists. This cutter distributes the force much better than one with a long handle.

Cuts thin crust pizza and thinner foods with no problems. It doesn’t have the clearance for something like a pan meat lovers pizza as you would get with a traditional open pizza cutter. Love the look of it since I’m into wood working and the blade is a thicker metal so it cuts fine. Clean it was simple enough as well.

A perfect Christmas gift. As it isn’t for me I can’t comment on its actual function. It is much sturdier than the picture looks to my mind. The blade is better than my John Lewis one. A really quirky gift for my sisters family as they have weekly Pizza making sessions when their grandson has a sleepover. Will be a really cool grand-dad gadget I’m sure – with granny wanting a shot! Arrived in the same secure package as other things I bought as Christmas presents. Delivery was Royal Mail to the door and quick too. A really happy customer.

War ein Geburtstagsgeschenk an meinen Mann.Unser alter Pizzaschneider wurde kurzerhand in “Rente” geschickt ;)Dieser Pizzacutter sieht nicht nur total witzig aus, er funktioniert auch tadellos!Sehr stabile und robuste Ausführung, scharfe Klinge und verhälnismäßig gut zu reinigen.Bei höheren Pizzen (z.B. American Style Pizza) kommt er aber nicht zum Boden durch!Auch muss man “nach Gefühl” schneiden, weil man nicht genau sieht, wo die Schneide gerade durchfährt.Aber alles in allem ein super Küchen Gadget mit Schmunzeleffekt ;D

Que para mis pizzas no sirve, pues las añado gran cantidad de “sustancia” y son demasiado gruesas, es una preciosa y cara decoración para mi cocina, solo vale para pizzas compradas

Si lo que buscas es un utensilio que funcione perfectamente bien, la verdad no lo recomiendo, ya que a pesar de que corta perfectamente el diseño hace que el queso o los ingredientes se metan entre la cuchilla y el plástico, lo cual puede ser un poco complicado a la hora de limpiar. Pero como a mi me gustó el diseño eso no me importa.
