I have been needing another monitor for my home office for a long time. For my job I need 2 monitors. They provided me with a nice 22” monitor to accompany the 15.6” laptop they provided, but my aging eyes just struggle too much with the laptop screen. It’s just not big enough and I found myself straining too hard to see, hunching forward and not sitting properly, and all that just causes all kinds of other problems. This has helped me tremendously! A lot less eye strain, a lot less neck and shoulder tension, and the blue light reduction feature is wonderful. The display is super crisp and clear, and colors are vibrant. I only wish the height were adjustable. But I can live with that. I am an ASUS fan in general, and this monitor, like everything else from this brand I’ve had in the past, it doesn’t disappoint. Great quality at a great price.

Update: compared to an ASUS PA27JCV for $800, this actually is a very good monitor. Despite the increase in resolution, it is difficult to see the difference with photos downloaded. Maybe I’m doing something wrong. The color palette can be adjusted on each and I get fairly close to the JCV.In the Amazon description: “Supports both Adaptive-Sync with NVIDIA GeForce* graphics cards and FreeSync with AMD Radeon graphics cards *Compatible with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 series, GTX 16 series, RTX 20 series and newer graphics cards”. It does NOT support G-SYNC which the manual shows and the description does not state just to be clear. A blog said “gtx 1060 supports adaptive v sync, it also supports fast sync”. Probably not confusing to an avid gamer which I am not. So it doesn’t really matter to me but at first glance may be confusing.The manual has an X by NVIDIA G-SYNC:NVIDIA G-SYNC ✗AMD FreeSync ✓Low Blue Light technology ✓Flicker-free technology ✓VESA Adaptive Sync support ✓AMD FreeSync type FreeSyncI think this ASUS VA24DQ has great color and intensity out of the box. I checked it with the Windows 10 Calibrate Display Monitor and didn’t change anything. I noticed the color intensity and depth immediately. I wanted a VESA mount to get the monitor off the desk top. It is sufficiently wide and high for general computing which is all I do with it (23.8 inch diagonal). With a Display Port, HDMI and VGA (sub-D) it should work well for many people. This replaces my 32 inch curved display which frankly was too large for general computing.

another great asus product
screen does what it should. I would have ordered from new eeg or elsewhere as I am not huge on getting electronics from here but I was able to get next day delivery so it was worth it.Screen def has the blue reduction on it and does not strain the eyes as much. i sit at a computer all day and have 2 of these. For the price they are good screens. they do not have speakers which is fine but overall I would recommend. These are just as good as any higher end screens out there

Good for the price.
This monitor is fine for the price point. It’s very basic, no speakers or height adjustment, but it’s clear, and the almost no bezel is great for a dual monitor setup. Feels more substantial than the Phillips monitor that it’s replacing.

-Adjustable tilt (but not height)-Crisp screen with some kind of soft anti-glare finish (doesn’t diminish quality at all!)-Doesn’t feel harsh on the eyes-Simple menu with just enough features not to overwhelm but to customize the experience well (I like the brightness settings and blue light filter)-Doesn’t glare and I can adjust my desk height or screen tilt and still see everything clearly from a few angles-Can handle a full workday without glitches or too much eye fatigue for me-Just the right size and height for my needs-Audio quality seems good, but I usually just use that for low background music while I workOverall, a great purchase!

This product came with shipping labels to another person just crossed out with marker and the shipping label with my address slapped elsewhere. The box also had a sticker on it that says, “Thanks to you this product has a second life.” Uhhh…what? There is nothing on the product page that indicates this monitor is being sold as a refurbished product but I think that it is refurbished. I guess it could have also been returned and resold but we all know plenty of in perfect condition product get resold after being returned and as a consumer you have no idea. In addition to the box being strange, individual parts weren’t properly packaged (for example, pieces were in a bag but the bag was ripped open) and at least one bag was empty (pink bag in the attached photos). There were 3 screws randomly loose on the box. The product should have come with 4 screws. I returned it.

Used in the office with limited desk space, and this monitor fits just nicely, not taking up too much space.The sharpness of images helps when we need to sit back from the desk. Well worth it.

Good quality, basic monitor. I have 2 of them that i use in my home office (remote worker). No issues even after 3 years of using them.The only thing is that the height doesn’t adjust, so I just had to buy monitor stands.

The monitor worked well for 1.5 years, but then it stopped functioning. Unfortunately, the repair support process is expected to take over a month, which is quite disappointing. The RMA process and turnaround time clearly need improvement. It’s also concerning that the support team doesn’t seem to understand how essential a functioning monitor is for work.
