Tips:Please make sure that the adsorption surface is iron-containing and smooth. Otherwise, it will affect the magnetic strength. In addition, 30LBS magnetic hooks tension is based on the direction of tension perpendicular to the contact surface – if used horizontally, reduce by 2/3, if you need to hang slightly heavier items, you can choose to hang them vertically. If you can’t hang them vertically, please use more magnetic hooks to hang them together
Customers say
Customers find the magnetic hooks strong and sturdy, with one mentioning they’re perfect for hanging heavy beach towels and clothes. They work well in various settings, including classrooms and cruise ships, and are handy for hanging student work. The size receives mixed feedback – while some love it, others find them too small to hold items like keys. The hold capacity is also mixed, with some saying they can hold anything while others report they don’t meet the advertised 30-pound capacity. Customers disagree on whether the hooks stick firmly in place.

Must-Have for Any Cruise Cabin
These DIYMAG magnetic hooks work perfectly on cruise ships—whether it’s Royal Caribbean, Princess, or Carnival. They hold strong and are great for hanging towels, swimsuits, umbrellas, robes, or just about anything you need off the floor. The magnets are powerful and never slipped. . They make organizing a small cabin easy and clutter-free. I’ll be taking these on every cruise from now on.

These are so versatile and extremely strong
I bought them for putting up a sheet on my metal shed to use for a projector screen. They do that amazingly well. I also pop them in random places to use them to hang small items. They are versatile and I have plenty left over. I keep finding new places to put them or use them. I find they are quality magnets that withstand several pounds of weight easily. For extra strength hang the item closer to the base rather than the hook. They hold sturdy and I trust them enough to even hang my phone by the wrist strap. Good product. They will come in handy and they seem solidly made. A tiny bit of assembly is required by the consumer in that the hook needs to be screwed into the magnet bottom. Very simple and easy to do. Overall a nice product to have on hand. There were plenty for hanging my “screen” with a ton left over because they are strong I did not need many to hang a full flannel sheet. I used 6 but could have used only two. Using 6 allowed me to stretch the sheet at the middle and bottom but it really only required two to hang the sheet securely. Strong magnets that hold well and keep things secure. I would not hang anything that is over several pounds. You would need a larger magnet. These are tiny but pack a punch for their size.

Much needed to declutter out key rack
I bought these hooks to use for all the keys I have. I am able to keep them separated instead of all together now.The magnet strength is very powerful. You have to scoot the magnet up and off the side of the metal to get it to come off. That’s great for the keys I have which some have a lot of other keys on them so they can weigh a bit of weight. They come in two different bags. One for the magnets and one for the hooks. All you have to do is screw the hooks onto the magnets. Simple. Easy peasy.I would say one of these could hold a decent amount of weight. As long as you put it on strong enough metal that is. I haven’t tested home much but it’s got to be a good amount. They do not fall off the metal easily at all. You have to really put some force behind it to do that. These would be great for anything truthfully. I use them for keys as stated above.I could see them being used to hold pots and pans, maybe not cast iron though. Lanyards. Baskets if you used 2. These truly work great. We have it on our access panel beside our back door for easy access. It also holds a flash light for night time animal feeding.

Small but strong
These are really strong magnets but smaller than I expected. As long as you don’t plan on hanging a side of beef from them, you’re good.

Perfect for a metal gazebo
Backstory: I just put up a metal Allen+Roth gazebo and my wife had some solar string lights that we wanted to put up. I didn’t want to drill holes in it and have always had bad experiences with adhesive solutions to hold pc wires under my desk so I didn’t want to have that happen on a bigger scale. Magnets seemed like the perfect solution and the black color on these along with rated strength sounded perfect.Performance -These things are strong, you wouldn’t think that string lights would be too heavy but these had some pretty thick cables and I needed something that could hold up the bulbs without making me worry. So far these are doing the job exceedingly well.Stability -Due to the nature of magnets (not so much the products fault) they will slide around if mounted horizontally much easier than if mounted vertically. I found this out the hard way as it slid on me a few times. I readjusted them to hand more vertically and they have been solid since. They still well enough to aluminum that I’d have to give a decent pull for them to come off.Hooks -The hooks are blunt and while they looked smaller than I anticipated, they ended up being a perfect size for my needs. I think the worst part of the process was getting them all twisted in because I got 40 of them (10 for each side of the gazebo to be extra sure) but I didn’t have any issues with the threading as others have mentioned. I did find it difficult in some cases to twist it as the coating can make it a bit slippery. Using gloves or your shirt for additional grip is enough to fix that.Ease of removal -With a little over natural degree of force you should be able to pull them off of an aluminum surface. It sticks hard but it should be strong enough to be impossible by any means. Sliding it sideways might make it easier too.Overall -I’ve only had it for one day but I’m confident that under normal conditions I won’t need to bother checking up on them. If I don’t update with a complaint later after a storm or something more severe then assume that everything went fine. I tend to leave enough reviews that I’d remember to come back if there’s a problem. So far I highly recommend these and commend this company for making a great product at a reasonable price, that’s pretty rare these days.

For small items or put more together for a jacket
They do not hold up a wet towel. They do stick to the walls of a cruise ship, and really any wall. Not that there are many in a cabin. We put three together to hold up a jacket. They can hold a hat or belt. I don’t know why it says 30 lbs plus unless it means all the hooks together hold that much.

Strong small magnetic hooks
Just went on a Norwegian Cruise for 10 days. These hooks were very useful. I used them to hold clothes hangers, umbrellas, coats, etc… When the item was too heavy, I just added extra hooks to handle the weight. The hooks and the magnetic base are small so they can be placed near each other and share the weight of the item. They come in a small box, and you have to assemble the hooks to the bases (everything is metal and the hooks screw into the base). This is okay as they would take up more space if they came assembled. I would definitely buy these again.

I bought these to use the as guides to run wires on my gazebo. They are very strong and can handle easily the cabling and 120V extension cord for my hanging heater. They are also being used to hang my heater by it’s chain with ease.

These are strong magnets for the size. I am going to order again. I looked for a long time for good small fridge magnets and finally found them, Price is OK. My wife had to get me to pull them off the fridge because they worked so well.

I’m super impressed with these. I had no issue with screw threads as others mentioned, they all matched up to make a full 15 pieces. I tried them on a few different metal surfaces to see their strength. On the front door (hanging horizontally) they hold hats and a small bag but in the garage I attached to to the bottom of a heavy metal rack and hung a very heavy coat on it. I’m not sure it could make it up to 25 lbs but they’re super handy. Just to note, the type and thickness of metal count to the strength of the pull. The thicker the metal the stronger the hold. And hanging vertically is stronger than horizontally. Still recommended!
