Decent steamer
This steamer works pretty well, I’ve used it to steam a variety of veggies and potatoes. It seems a little fragile and it’s a bit smaller than I expected but it does work. The little “add water” drawer is functional but goofy. All in all I’m glad I bought it, and we’re keeping it, but I don’t have great expectations for how long it’s going to last.

Best Steamer
I love this steamer, so much so that this is my second time buying this exact item. The first one I bought from Walmart several years ago. I used it probably 3-4 times a week. I would still have it if my daughter hadn’t wanted steamed crab legs but didn’t want the smell inside the house and put the steamer on the deck and left it there in the rain… Needless to say, this works wonderful! I’ve cooked everything from eggs, crab legs, salmon, veggies, you name it. But haven’t tried to cook rice in it yet. That’s on the to do list.

So, it’s July 2022 and I’ve had this since early December 2021. This is one of the most used items I’ve bought in ages!! I use it every day, be it to cook some eggs or steam some vegetables for part of dinner or a quick snack.It doesn’t take up a whole lot of counter space, and works very simply & efficiently.This is likely one of my favourite & useful purchases from Amazon–(which is saying a lot!!).If you’ve ever struggled to peel hard-boiled eggs, your difficult mission ends here. – I still haven’t worked out the secret, but you can make up to 16 eggs at a time and all you have to do is chill them in the fridge (hot might work, too– haven’t tried it) and then crack the bottom and peel.– I do it under a stream of water and each egg takes about 10-15 seconds. -Magic!!This is great for all types of vegetables– haven’t tried it on fruit, as that’s not really up my alley, but I’m sure it would be a success also.I know this review is long, but if you’re looking for something like this, I wanted to give my full take on it. 🙂 I’m sure there are many uses I haven’t even explored, but this is most definitely worth your money!~Chantal 🙂

Très satisfaite de ce produit. Bonne capacité. 2 très gros filet de truite entrent bien. Attention de ne pas mettre les plateaux à la mauvaise place. Le 1 va en bas et le 2 va en haut. Si non il y a une flaque d’eau en dessous après la cuisson. L’ébullition commence rapidement après la mise en marche. La cuisson du riz est facile et le résultat est excellent. Jamais fait un aussi bon riz. Je recommande ce produit.

We found this Bella on Amazon at a good price and good reviews. We bought it even though we’ve never heard of the brand before. So far, it has worked well and produced good results.Our biggest knock is that this steamer is smaller than we expected–noticeably smaller than our old one. As a result, most of our dishes will not fit inside, but there is an included plastic tray. One thing we like is that the steamer baskets are one piece, with convenient indentations for eggs. Our old one had detachable bottoms that even eventually split in half.Another slight niggly complaint is the timer dial is chrome surrounded by black. When placed on our cooktop (which also has a black surface), it renders the timer dial all but invisible, making it difficult to see how much time is left on the timer.
