Great Smart Phone For A Reasonable Price
I purchased several Motorola phones from Tracfone (Moto G Pure, Moto G Play ) for my daughter in the past , I decided on this one because the last phone had sever water damage and wouldn’t turn on a all. She also needed to upgrade her memory anyway , I like that this one has 128GB , I can add an SD card for more storage , it runs on 5G & the price was great for this type of phone . It was easy to set up once I called to have it activated, the only issue I had was when I pressed something that said the phone hasn’t been updated which I regretted doing , because I had to call tech support to get it fixed, then this morning I saw the same thing on the screen but managed to fix it. Hopefully I won’t hit anymore snags with this phone. It’s a nice size 6’6 in screen , Home Screen color is great , ringer is loud , light weight and easy to nagivate around the apps, I would recommend it if you don’t want to spend a whole lot on a phone for a kid. Best Motorola phone I’ve ever had
I’ve had one Motorola after another and I keep upgrading to a better one. This one has four times the memory as my previous Moto. The one just below this is half the price but I recommend this one instead. There are no glitches in this system. I highly recommend it.

Solid buy for short term use
Overall a solid buy and price can’t be beat for what it offers.1) Impressed with the battery life of this phone. Used GPS all day and still had at least 50% batt left at night. Much better than my regular phone.2) Touchscreen isn’t as responsive as an iPhone but it’s still good3) GPS walking directions in East coast cities isn’t great—the GPS gets hung up often, and occasionally doesn’t know what direction it’s going. Very diff from iPhone experience when traveling.4) Screen display is very good and sound quality seemed fine too.5) Easy Tracfone setup and Googleplay app downloads was trouble-free.

Poorly programmed can’t change settings
The phone is programmed poorly and will not allow the owner to control simply on/off features. I have turned off tap to show, lift to show, and wake to show, I have even turned off show when notified, but the phone’s display comes on every time it is moved. This waste the battery and I have no interest in the phone coming on every time it is slightly moved. I am almost ready to return the piece of junk. Some genius thinks you want your phone to turn on whenever you touch it or move it and then they make it impossible to disable.

This is not actually locked to Tracfone. It is a used phone so you cannot go online to Activate. You have to sit on the phone for hours while they try to add it to your account. Should have been sold as Unlocked. The price was good yes but not worth it. It also did not come with any promo plan. Every time I leave the house I have no service. Returning it and buying a brand new one. Tracfone has gotten progressively worse since Verizon bought them.
