Really Cute!
These were a hit at a bridal shower. Recommendation of a plastic squeeze bottle for pancake mix helped cleaning up and formation of piggies better. I bought 2 extra so I could make a bigger batch at one time.

Great for making healthier corn dog alternative!
This rocket dog pan worked perfectly to make healthier hot dog/corn dog alternatives for my 6 year old. My son and lots of his friends prefer gluten free (we used gluten free cornbread mix), and we use organic hot dogs sliced up instead of Vienna sausages/mini dog. An added bonus is that the pan is small enough to fit in the toaster oven, which makes cooking super fast and easy. The dogs popped out of the pan, no problem. My son loved these!!! And these were ready for dinner in no time.

Wonderful+ recipe 😉
Ok My son only wants to eat mini hot dogs IN A MINI BUN and idk where to buy a mini bun (besides lunch-ables and well no more of those for us!), SO here we are! the first time I made them I put it in the Ari fryer and they weren’t cooked properly and stuck to the tray and came out a complete wreck!, THIS TIME I ROCKED THEM!! I used the Aldi pancake mix which is AWESOME 💯 here’s exactly what I did with my MOST successful batch- sprayed clean mat with PAM- ½cup pancake mix + ½cup water in cup (for the bun mixture)- pour it in the tray spaces using ½TBS measurements spoon- place the hot dogs in- cooked for 13mins @ 375°Wah Laaa ! Bon appetit !

Sort of works
I purchased two of the rocket molds on sale. I was impressed with how sturdy the molds feel, they should definitely last a long time with normal use. I decided to make “corndogs” by using Jiffy corn muffin mix and cocktail sausages. The small Jiffy box was enough for both molds which went right to the “hotdog” line and was around a teaspoon of batter each (and I followed the baking temp and time on the Jiffy box). However, my first attempt was a disaster because I forgot to spray the molds beforehand with cooking spray. The results were still tasty, but horrible to clean up because a good amount of muffin was stuck on the bottom of the molds and in the design creases. For my next batch I experimented with a different spray in each mold- one with regular canola oil spray, the other with a baking spray that had flour added. They both worked well to cleanly release the corndogs, but the regular canola oil spray showed a little more of the details than the one with flour. But it was disappointing that there wasn’t much visible detail and the corndogs looked a bit more like triangle blobs. However, the box does say to use pancake batter so maybe that would show more detail. When using spray the molds were much easier to clean and just required a little soaking and then a small brush (or fingernails) to get a bit stuck around the design.I served the rocket corndogs with tater-tots “asteroids.” Definitely not the healthiest meal, but it was cute.

Shark themed food!
These are so cool. My son loved them. Easy to use and the shape came out perfectly and you could see the details.

Cute and delicious
I purchased this for a baby shower. I made sharks in a blanket and mini shark dogs. I made 300 each and the mold held up but started to show wear on the bottom after 150. They came out cute and delicious.

Too shallow
Very disappointed. I made pigs in a blanket and the molds are too shallow for even a breakfast sausage split in half.

It was ok, but I would not buy again.
It is a cure idea, but did not work out all that well. no one at the party could tell they were dinosaurs. I tried crescent rolls & pancake mix. The crescent rolls tasted better but shape was bad, sausage just sunk into pancake mix and there was really no dino definition. Definitely spray mold good before you put anything in it, and bake on a rack that it will brown so you can so some definition. Kids loved then because of the idea.
