    More Like a Mindfulness Book
    This is not exactly a “Diet” book. I thought it would have recipes and practical applications. The cover even looks like a cookbook. Instead this book focused more on cortisol, sleep and how to de-stress. I still got some good information especially on Chapter 4 (how to de-stress) but I suggest the author change the overall vibe that can mislead readers.

I liked that the author explains things in simple terms, especially when talking about blood sugar and how cortisol works.But readers should know that this book is not a diet book in the usual sense. There are no recipes, no meal ideas, and no real diet plan, even though the cover makes it look like there would be. The formatting also feels messy in some places, which makes it harder to follow. Still the stress-management tips were quite useful.
