Read this book
Big fan of Josh Axe and Jordan Rubin. This collaboration was perfect. What a great read, reminding the reader to eat real, whole foods as they did for most of human kind.

Great book as a supplement to other health advice but book is not comprehensive.
Overall, a good coverage of Bible based foods, but I was disappointed that there was no mention of wine, and when referring to eggs and poultry, they promote pastured over organic. Organically fed chickens are the most essential aspect of eating healthy, nutritious poultry and eggs. Imagine eating eggs or poultry fed GMO, glyphosate, pesticide, and insecticide-loaded feed, but allowed to run around outside, and to label it “pastured”. The authors become overly enthusiastic about incorporating a wide range of vegetables and fruits that are not mentioned in the Bible, instead relying on more mainstream “wisdom” rather than Biblical wisdom. As an example, they do not mention at all lectins, oxalates, or anti-nutrients of plants, and the curse placed upon plants from Genesis chapter 3. Plants are loaded with 100s of anti-nutrients, but there is no mention of these except for the common mention of gluten, which even mainstream acknowledges as a problem of plants. But their core recommended foods are red meat, organ meats, avocado, eggs, sourdough bread, A2 dairy, pomegranates, bone broth, wild-caught salmon, EVOO, coconut oil, and mushrooms. Excellent advice and wisdom. Use this book as a “supplement” to other health principles, and especially the foods NOT to eat from Biblical instructions.

I have 2 copies of this book and it on Audio. This is an amazing book full of amazing health information thats rooted in Biblical truth. I follow this diet and I have seen an amazing Change just in my life. This book from start to finish had my mind stunned at what we put in our bodies and the potential effects that it can have. The fact that we have bible truth and health information is the best and I HIGHLY recommend this book to everyone I speak to. If you want to focus on what your body needs and being healthy this is the book to go to, you will learn not only about products that we eat but learn Scripture along with it. I love this book!
