Removing Foil with Foil Cutter
Hold the foil cutter tightly and press inward. Twist it to cut and remove the foil from the bottle.
Insert the Battery
Insert four AA 1.5V alkaline batteries according to the plus (+) and minus (-) symbols inside the compartment (batteries not included).
Press the Extract Button
The bottle opener must be held upright and steady on the bottle. Press and hold the extract button until the cork is completely removed.
Press the Release Button
Press and hold the release button until the cork is fully released.

What I love about this is that it doesn’t cost a lot. It does the job perfectly. It is battery operated therefore batteries are not included. It has a sleek finish and is durable. It feels great in my hand. The perfect wine opener for any night 😌

Does Not Work With Rechargable Batteries
This will not work with NiMH rechargeable batteries. I tried a few different brands of AA – fully charged and working in other devices. It seems to only with with alkaline (non-rechargeable) batteries.Besides that, this devices feel very cheap and like it could be broken easily. It does seem to work (when using alkaline batteries anyway).

It barley pulls the cork out and when it does it destroys the cork leaving parts of it inside the bottle

My wie and I enjoy wine. We usually buy bottles that come with corks and those with just caps. I saw this item on vine and decided to give it a try since we were always fumbling with our regular cork opener, and with a knife to remove the foil.. We have had it for a couple of months, and we have opened about 6 bottles with corks and we are extremely pleased with the results. The cork opener is compact and it stands on its own, that makes it very easy to place anywhere in your kitchen. The foil cutter is integrated nicely into the opener and it is very easy and effective to use. You place the foil cutter on the head of the bottle, squezze against the rim of the bottle and turn around to remove the head of the foil. Then you put the opener on top of the bottle, press the button and wait till it goes down and then back up. Very easy, no mess, way of opening a bottle. Highly recommended.

This does not require you to do anything, other than position it the right way and it does the work of opening the bottle for you, both the cork and foil (with the foil cutter). The build quality is commendable and durably. With the replaceable batteries you never have to worry about it reaching its end of life if it had built in batteries. The batteries do last a considerable time, and its easy to hold onto while you open the bottles. The extract button is handy to press and does not require any fidgeting. Pros: ideal for someone with arthritic hands; slim design makes it easier to grip; a but of a conversation piece; a great gift for someone who entertains, enjoys wine or has or is building out their bar.Cons: needs 4x AAA batteries and it goes through them quickly, can sometimes chew up a cork rather than remove it whole which creates a mess.The batteries do make sense as using AA’s would mean having a bulkier handle, but you should be aware that you will go through them quickly. We got four Amazon Basics rechargeable AAA’s and simply top them up before entertaining.

As a wine lover I sadly still can destroy a cork from time to time and this is perfect for getting it right every time. The cork remover takes 4 AA batteries. I usually don’t like to use that many batteries with any given item but realistically I’m not opening a bottle of wine all that often so I think it’s likely to last me many months but I will have to update it if dies sooner than I expect.For use it is pretty simple and straight forward just remember to provide some pressure for the machine to help get the screw in the cork. Once lodged you just hit the reverse button to seamlessly pull the cork out.This is a great gift for any wine lover and at a very reasonable price.
