Excellent first truly vertical mouse from Razer. Now – make an ultimate version.
I had this thing boxed up for return more times than I can count (seriously) but I kept taking it back out for another look. I am selling my other mice and running this one as my main. I’m coming from a trackball main (Nulea M505) and a basilisk v3 pro for gaming. This is an evoluent wireless mouse with a razer sensor, better buttons, RGB, and synapse 4 software. The form factor is fantastic. There are some things that people will gripe on regarding the form factor, but they will be entirely subjective because each person is different. Try running aim labs with this vs a regular mouse and you will find one glaringly obvious point – you’re hand doesn’t hurt or get as tired or fatigued using the vertical mouse. I have been searching for a vertical mouse that can use to replace both my trackball and my gaming mouse (basalisk v3 pro). One that was made by a reliable company like corsair, hp, razer, or logitech. The MX vertical and MX master are a no go for gaming due to the click latency and polling. We’ve been waiting on Logitech to do something, but they refuse due to competition with their gseries mice. Trackballs can game and they make gaming trackballs (Ltracs and Gameball), but no trackball is perfect. AND with every single trackball I have ever had – they eventually develop sticking issues with the ball. I could purchase 3 Nulea M505 trackball mice for the price of one of these Razer proclick v2 vertical mice, but It’s only good for mousing on basic business tasks and not for gaming. This mouse is quite competent for gaming. YES FPS and MMO games too. I would have liked to see Razer implement their rotational software because everyone will hold it slightly different, and this is true with any mouse. You can just download Raw Accel and that will fix it for you. BUT I learned to hold the mouse so that the default (14 degrees) is a straight line for me when I move the cursor left to right. Poilling is great at 1000 HZ and you can turn it down to conserve battery. The battery is bigger than my Basalisk v3 pro (just based on average usage) but I don’t know by how much. I couldnt find specs on the battery. Gaming on it at 1000hz and full rgb ligbhting, and switching to no rgb and 250hz for office tasks, I use about 3% a day with over 12 hours (8 hours work and 4 hours gaming). I could not keep that pace for more than a week and would eventually drop gaming a few hours or altogether for a few days. Meaning the mouse should last 6 weeks PLUS on a single charge and up to 6 months if you tone it down on the polling for office tasks. I would have liked more – of course who wouldn’t. I would have liked to see an infinite scroll wheel, onboard memory for saving profiles, the Razer rotational software enabled in synapse, and I dunno maybe and extra button next to right click. HOWEVER, that would dramatically increase the price of this mouse to well over $200. Would I pay another $100 for those features? After using the mouse for a week I most definitely would. BUT seeing the sticker shock would have prevented me from even trying as I would have relied on the reviews alone. If you buy this, put your other mice away for a week and main this before returning. Give it a serious look – it deserves it. The packaging on certain things about the product were carefully thought out I love that the dongle tray on the mouse is magnetic. Great Job Razer – no Make the pro version with the features I described so I can give you more money.

A solid ergonomic productivity mouse that can Moonlight as a gaming mouse
I wanted to see if I could ease some wrist strain while still having a responsive and aesthetically pleasing mouse. The Pro Click V2 Vertical from Razer definitely fits the bill.First, the angle is good: it matches my natural wrist position and has resulted in much less pain after longer sessions using it. It really only took a couple of days to really feel comfortable to the point where I prefer it to my older traditional mouse.Second, its a great size and feels good in my hand. The shape works well for me, in that i dont have to squeeze it too much: The thumb stays in the resting position and doesnt have to do much aside from click the back and forward buttons (which also feel placed very intuitively). The build quality is great: it doesnt feel plastic or too heavy or light.Performance wise, its been great as well. The adjustable dpi up to 30k and 1000ghz polling rate are beyond great for a productivity mouse, and good for a gaming mouse. The battery life is great (as large as it is, it better be) and I only really plug it in every couple weeks or so. Bluetooth, and RF and wired connection options are great as well.I dont really need the AI nonsense bundled with it, but overall few things about it I dont like.

Good but could be better
Overall, the Razer Pro Click V2 is a high-quality mouse that’s a pleasure to use. The ergonomics are top-notch—it feels great in hand, and the weight is perfect. Paired with my Firefly mousepad, it provides a wonderfully smooth glide. However, there’s a definite design flaw with the main clicks. The buttons are stiff and require too much force, which consistently causes me to inadvertently move the mouse while clicking. It’s a small but mildly annoying issue that holds back an otherwise excellent product.

Great Looking and Comfortable, With a High Battery Life!!!
I love absolutely everything about this mouse. It’s my first vertical mouse, and for everyday non-gaming use it’s the most comfortable my hand has ever benn. I use it during remote work all day long, and I never feel uncomfortable. The battery life is also great, and the popup notifications that let you know when the battery is low from the Razer software makes sure it never dies on you out of the blue. The RGBs on this thing are great as well. Usually it can be hard to see when the RGBs are on the bottom of a device, but these are satisfyingly bright. I usually can go a full work week without charging as well, so I am very happy with the battery The only admittedly extremely minor issue that I have found, is that if your hands are dry, it can be a little slick and hard to pick up and move without it feeling like it will slip from your grip. Definitely not enough to know this down from 5 stars.

Desk-war Professional Approved
I’m old(er) and I know it *clap my hands* As a 35-year gamer and a professional for 20+ years, the toll is real. I’m literally Googling terms like ‘gamer’s thumb.’ My wrists are not immune; cramping and digit pain are now on my list to talk to my doctor about. Razer is a great brand, and I own several of their products, so I was genuinely excited when they came out with this high-quality mouse. It feels solid and comfortable, and I plan on gifting it (not mine!) this year to fellow professional friends who also have desk-war-torn wrists. My only ‘issue’? It had trouble connecting when I first got it, but after charging it overnight, it worked like a charm!

Pros:+ Works and keeps settings even after uninstalling SYNAPSE!+ Smooth operation, no complaints about precision/performance.Cons:+ Need to reset Windows Dynamic Sync at times to bring RGB back to Windows settings.+ Hand gets warm after long periods of use. Fatigue/pain sets in after longer periods of use. Not the most ergonomic mouse I have used. (I guess they want me to buy the other one). I figured out the issue: It is inducing RSI because ring finger does not have good leverage when lifting the mouse during micro movements. Repeated lifts with limited grip/leverage on the right side (ring finger) is causing the hand to grip the mouse harder during those micro lifts. Solution: Have a dent on the right side of the mouse for the ring finger to dig in a little deeper for better grip/lift, OR reduce the weight of the mouse by half.

Good quality and fits comfortably, but it is too heavy. I struggled to move the cursor accurately with it, and my wrist began to ache. Returned.

MUCHO TEXTO.

Takes some time getting used to the vertical part.Expect arm to hurt, get tired.
