Good for a first time shaver.
My little girl decided it was time to start shaving, and she did not want to use a regular razor for fear of getting cut. I tried a different electric razor from Wal-Mart and it did not work at all. So we decided to try this product.She really liked the color and design of it. It fits in her hand very well. She has no trouble putting the guard back on once she is done using it like she did with the one from Wal-Mart.The over all use is very well, where it takes other electric razors two – three times to go over and remove the hair from one spot, it only takes this one, one time. So far it has had the same batteries in it for two months, and it is used at lease once a week. So the battery life is good.

When you just need to clear-cut the rainforest….
Like other reviewers, I was looking for a quick, easy solution to go from Chewbacca to “I can wear a cute dress without traumatizing myself!” This razor is perfect. Before this, it seemed like I could never plan ahead and shave before going out, so all my cute rockabilly dresses hung sadly unworn in my closet 🙁 Now, it just takes a couple of minutes to shave over the toilet and I’m out the door – AWESOME. And yeah, wet shaving will get you smoother – if I’m going to spend the day at the beach or be sitting in a hot tub with people I’ll probably still need to hop in the shower and lather up – but this is gonna do it for me 90% of my life.

Life-saver! Sanity-saver!
So, ladies… you all know those tv commercials for razors where a lady with beautiful and hairless legs puts on shaving cream and then shaves her hairless legs? Like, why are they even showing us that?! She literally shaved nothing. She had hairless legs! That’s not gonna make me wanna buy that razor! Show me a wildly hairy leg and shave THAT and make it smooth and I’ll be impressed!Well, today, I share with you my wildly hairy and actually accurate portrayal of how true leg shaving commercials should be.I have PCOS and hypothyroidism so I’m just incredibly hairy. It is so incredibly annoying and hard. I mean. Hair. Everywhere. Dark. Thick. Coarse. Grows in all sorts of weird directions on my legs too. My arms, legs, belly, and chin just sprout hair like a chia pet. It’s bad.But the problem is I just get so overwhelmed with it. Shaving with a regular razor and shaving cream ALWAYS ends with terrible razor burn for me. So then I get grumpy and neglect shaving my legs for a month and then I end up with what you see in the video. Waxing is just torture. Creams like Nair and Veet burn and smell and end up giving me a rash. It all makes me want to cry and being so hairy makes me feel like less of a woman.I don’t even really need to have a super close shave to where it’s incredibly smooth. I just want to not look and feel like Chewbacca. Ya know?And even if I use a good razor and good shaving cream, the razor gets clogged up with my hair and gets dull before I even finish the bottom section of one leg. And I know if I kept up with shaving at every shower then the clogging and dulling probably wouldn’t be an issue, but it still gives me wicked razor burn and I just can’t deal with it.I wasn’t expecting much from this because it was so inexpensive. But oh my gosh. I wish I would have recorded doing my lower leg. It removes the bulk of my hair after one swipe! Quickly, effortlessly, painlessly!!!!!!What would take me twenty minutes in the shower took me like two minutes with this razor, and without clogs or razor burn.Now, I will say that just going over it gently like that does not give a clean/smooth shave. Buuuut if I apply pressure with the foil part it gets super duper close to being a smooth shave.This is so amazing! It was worth every single penny!!!!!

My daughter’s just started shaving and she loves this!
I use razors but my preteen does not like anything sharp so I bought her this, which takes batteries, and I haven’t seen it since. She says it never hurts, it actually tickles a little and she says it works well to get all of leg hair off. She’s been using it now for almost 3 months and it’s still going strong without needing a change of batteries. Although it is waterproof, she usually uses it after her shower. She doesn’t like pink but she’s overlooking that one flaw because of how easy it is to use and hold.

Its a trimmer not a shaver
I got this for my daughter, she has asd and I wanted her to have something safe to learn with for her armpits.While this did get the hair down to a stubble… there was still stubble.So I tried it on my legs and it did the same thing.While the design is good, and it fit comfortably in my hand, its a bit bulky for travel.The battery charge lasted for quite a while, but not surprising for a Phillips. They usually make very good products, but I was disappointed in the shaving abilities.I would consider this a trimmer not a shaver.

No irritation just hair removal conveniently
After having a hysterectomy I started growing unwanted hair on my face. Ladies faces should never have a razor used. This works when I need hair removal with no irritation. I keep it in a drawer beside my recliner and use it without water or anything. Saves me embarrassing whiskers.

Woman-scaping time
I bought this twice, once for each daughter of mine. They both feel comfortable shaving their bodies with this. I let them choose where they shave. It’s not the 80s anymore, and no woman no matter how old she is, should feel bad about being so hairy. This is a great woman-scaping tool! For all ages, as long as she is growing the hair and wants it gone, parent approval first, obviously.
