You have to try it
Never thought this would make such a difference, but, wow. The days I spend programming are much more comfortable. It has a smooth operation and soft click. Good battery life, charge it every few days and you’ll never have a problem of it dying on you. Highly recommend.

Sleek design!
I was skeptical to see if this helped with carpel tunnel but is works! It good quality, wireless and makes a heck of a difference in the work day while on the computer! Battery lasts quite a while before having to charge again.

Great ergo mouse, wish it came in smaller size
Really like the design and it is much better for my wrist. My only issue is the size I have shorter hands and would love a small version.

5 years on, I am still very impressed…great $12 vertical mouse
The Perixx company continues to impress me.Decided to give a try to these upright/vertical/handshake grip style mice. Got this one for $11.99 Prime.First off, this review is for the WIRED version (which is clearly stated in the title, but looking at the reviews, some people didn’t notice).it illuminates! which came as a surprise. the bar on the thumb portion glows a very awesome blue, which is EXACTLY the same color as my Perixx wired keyboard (a hidden bonus). Had seen some pictures of this mouse (which is very similar if not identical to the Anker version here: Anker 2.4G Wireless Vertical Ergonomic Optical Mouse, 800 / 1200 /1600DPI, 5 Buttons – Black and the Sharkk version here: SHARKK Vertical Mouse Ergonomic High Precision Optical Mice Super Comfortable Wired Mouse) online where someone used MS Paint to draw a blue line where the unit glows. i can confirm it glows all by itself.Have only used it for an hour, and already i am very pleased with it. Mousing feels a bit awkward after 30 years using a typical mouse, but my wrist already feels more comfortable, and i’ll get used to the new configuration sooner or later. The “High Quality Rubber Coating Surface” is odd in a good way. it looks like a matte plastic finish, but has more grip than plain plastic should have (if that makes sense). I guess it’s to give people peace of mind that they won’t lose their grip on the mouse, but as it is so lightweight, it’s a non-issue for me, personally. It is not a thick layer, in any case. It has no extra give (like a neoprene sleeve would have). The cord is plain plastic. the cord for my Perixx keyboard (Perixx PX-2000, Programmable Backlit Gaming Keyboard – 6 Macro Keys with 3 User Profile – Blue Illuminated Backlit Keys – Gold-plated USB Connector – 6 Feet Braided Fiber Cable was braided, so i guess i was hoping this one would be too…but it did not specifically say it was. (and really, i wouldn’t really expect a braided cord cover for the price i paid for this mouse.)I had never heard of Perixx before i bought my keyboard (August 2013, and still going strong), but i have had nothing but positive experiences with their products thus far.Would highly recommend this mouse specifically and Perixx products in general.Update: 5 years on, and the mouse is still going strong. The blue illluminated portion flickers now, when it is on–it isn’t most of the time anymore–but the mouse is still perfectly functional. Very impressed.

One of my wisest investments
I typically don’t write reviews of devices for at least 60 days, but had to comment on this one in case people may be on the fence about it. GET IT!It took me a couple hours to really adjust to the change (for the better) in ergonomics and movement, but I have to say that this is one of my wisest electronics purchases of the past two years. It is incredibly comfortable even in my big bear paws. I like how easily it glides without requiring a mousepad. I recommend using a USB hub to help ensure that you’ll always have space for the dongle. The connectivity is solid and smooth. I like that the DPI button functions to easily adjust your mouse speed across three levels. Since I have three monitors, that is of great benefit.

Too vertical, still causes pain, just in a different spot
Update 2022-04-09:This mouse has caused immense pain in my thumb and wrist. I have dropped the rating to 1 star (previously was 3 stars). I stopped using it and went back to a “regular” mouse and my wrist and thumb pain went away almost completely in less than 3 days. However, now my previous pain is coming back from using the regular mouse.Original review:This mouse is too close to vertical to really be comfortable. I think it needs to be closer 45 degrees to really alleviate the pain completely. I’ve been using this thing for a few weeks now, and the pain that I was feeling before has subsided, but now I have pain in a different area above my index finger. This is because the angle is too steep and it causes me to strain a different muscle in my arm. It’s taking a long time to get used to this vertical layout, which makes it much more difficult to be precise with movements. The mouse overall is quite tall, and I find myself bumping it very often when moving my hand from the keyboard to try to put it on to the mouse. The DPI button is nice to have, but is in a very awkward spot and is hard to hit. I’m not able to make changes on the fly like I was expecting and like my old mouse was able to do, because the button is too awkward to press. Also the DPI change is not substantial enough to really even be worth doing it.Lastly, there’s a very strange issue ever since I plugged in this mouse. Periodically the mouse cursor will jump all the way across the screen to some random position. I Frequently have to reposition the mouse back to where I needed it to be. This is very frustrating especially when working with images, because when I click to draw something the mouse cursor is not where I expected it to be. I’ve never seen this happen with any other mouse that I’ve used, and it started immediately after I started using this mouse. For the most part this thing works as advertised (minus the weird jumping around issue), and it did alleviate the pain I was having before, but it’s really not a solution to wrist pain in general. The main buttons work, the scroll wheel works, the back and forward buttons work, and the DPI buttons work. Build quality seems fine. I like that there’s no battery to have to worry about, but overall I’m not really satisfied with this purchase. I’m not sure yet if I’ll return it, or just cycle it back and forth with my other regular mouse.

I wanted to wait for writing a review. I purchased the Perixx PERIMICE-513 Wired Ergonomic Vertical Mouse on 4 Oct 2022 for work. I chose the wired as I am not allowed wireless due to security reasons. Nearly three years using the mouse and it still looks nearly brand new and works a dream. I have larger hands and the size and fit are good, comfortable. Good price for the quality, I certainly have gotten my money worth from this product

Funkar perfekt! Lite liten för min hand, men man vänjer sig. Jag har två stycken, en för vänster hand en för höger hand. Då kan jag växla hand när den ena blir trött. Funkar jättebra.

If you’re experiencing wrist issues, don’t hesitate to buy this. It will take exactly a day to get used to, and keep you wrist pain free forever. My only issue with unit is that you have to switch it on and off every time you restart the computer, but frankly a minor issue for someone who is no longer in agony.
Erimos –
Very happy, helped with my wrist issues.
