You won’t be sorry, they are excellent.
I think I bought at least 6 pairs of scissors trying to find a pair of Kitchen shears that were comfortable to hold, cut well and was dishwasher safe. These are it. I would buy them again. They are comfortable to use, they cut really well with very smooth cutting action, they come apart easily for cleaning and are dishwasher safe. Highly recommend!

Great OXO Scissors!!
These scissors are much larger than they look but that’s good I think. They are very sharp – I think they are sharper than my Wusthof scissors. I also like that they come apart – makes cleaning lots easier,especially after cutting up chicken or other meats. Another Great OXO product!!⁰

Exactly what I was after – sharp & easy to clean
Great kitchen addition. I was after kitchen scissors that could be separated like this. They are super sharp and easy to clean. I was worried about other feedback regarding the groove on the handles making cleaning difficult, however, I’ve had no issues with this. The groove is a weird design (trying to save plastic?) but nothing I notice at all.

Can use to spatchcock a turkey!
I bought these to spatchcock a turkey and even though I cut through some bigger bones that required using all of my hand strength the shears showed no signs of damage. I’ve since used them to cut up whole chickens (much much easier than the turkey haha) and that has been super easy. Really easy to clean too since they come apart. Glad I purchased these!
