Probably The Only Portable Lav Mic Set You’ll Ever Need
Alright, so I picked up the Neewer CM31 because I needed something low-effort and solid for webcasting, short interviews, and the occasional rant on the go. Spoiler alert: it’s better than I expected for something this low of a price.First off, the setup is dead simple. Plug and play. Didn’t need a manual. The pairing is quick, and it works across all my devices: iPhone, iPad, Android backup, my laptop, even the camera rig. That alone makes it a clutch utility mic for someone who doesn’t want to juggle a dozen adapters or formats.The audio quality is crisp. The 48KHz and 24-bit spec definitely shows up. It’s not studio condenser levels obviously, but for something wireless and portable? It’s clean, it isolates voice well, and the noise canceling is just enough without making everything sound like it’s been scrubbed raw.The internal storage is a nice touch. Eight gigs onboard is overkill for most casual use but great for peace of mind. I used it once without realizing it wasn’t connected, and the backup saved my ass. Range-wise, it actually holds up. I haven’t tested the full 820 feet because I’m not shooting a war doc, but at 100-plus feet in a clear line of sight, there was zero dropout.Battery life is solid. Charges fast via USB-C, lasts long enough to get through a full shoot or a half-day of event coverage. No complaints there.If I had to nitpick, the interface and indicators could be a little more intuitive. Figuring out when it’s recording internally versus transmitting live took a second. But once you know, you know.

This product has got you covered. It has unbelievable amount of features, including charging indicator, pulse bar, and other info on the info panel on the hub; attaches seamlessly to my GoPro Hero camera, has a very long range and noise cancelling capability. The product is equipped with a lot of features and it comes with a wide variety of accessories to carry you through your filming journey. And yes, it does come with the nice “cat hair” covers for filming during windy weather.

Great quality mic system
Very good quality mics. The sounds quality is great and sounds very natural. I wish there was more natural noise canceling so you don’t have to rely so much on the noise canceling setting. I love how easy to setup these are and how they can be used on all my electronics without issue.

Great value and easy to use
Very good and easy to use right out of the box. I like the version I have with the USB-C to 3.5mm cable to plug into my cell phone since my phone case is a heavy duty thick case. Also I would make the Grain Level on the receiver level 4 instead of 5.

Got these on sale for $49 – seem like a bargain at regular price. Sound good, work good.
Great. Needed a remote mic that I could plug in and use with multiple devices like a GoPro through the USB or an Insta 360 and so now I can plug in and use it. It clips into the cold shoe of the Insta360 and the GoPro cases so it all fits together well and there is no issue with pairing the microphones and the receiver together. it all comes paired and it all just works right out of the box.

A great buy. I had the model before this version came out and that was good. This one is a bit more heavier than the first model. But the sound quality and ease of functionality is too tier.

I really wanted the DJI microphone that cost 3x as much, but after doing my research I kept the extra cash in my pocket and bought this. I really like the noise cancelling feature and I use it a lot when recording audio while flying my drones. Works great.
