Cute, but Give Them Time
First, I’ll say that these are normally 120 dollars in stores. That’s insanity. I paid forty, and I would never pay more. They are Target quality shoes.That said, I saw these on a friend and immediately asked where she got them, because I think the look is so cute – most animal print shoes look very loud and too bold for my taste. This print is so small, it could almost look like a light brown boot from far away, and I really like the understated and somewhat faded coloring.When I got them, I had to work hard to get my foot inside, and they felt so narrow that I immediately thought I would have to return them. But because I loved the style so much, I decided to try to wear them around the house that morning to see if they would stretch a little. Thankfully, they did, and now they fit snugly but not uncomfortably. I still probably couldn’t wear socks with them, but it’s hard to with this cut of boot anyway.I normally wear an 8.5 to 9, and lean towards 9 in boots. I got these in a 8.5. I am not sure how the 9 would fit, but they were priced twice as much, so I am sticking with these.
