Easy, Portable, Accurate, Fantastic scale
I’ve had this scale for 3 years or so now. As a commercial fisherman selling seafood fresh off the boat, we needed a waterproof scale that’s easy to transport. It’s slim design made this perfect. This scale is easy to use and switch between pounds and ounces and kg. Display is easy to read, and connected to the scale end by a sturdy durable wire so you can put the display anywhere you need it. The wire durability was unexpectedly tested when I accidentally dropped the scale end off the boat and pulled it back up with the wire, maybe I should mention the scale is Very durable and handles abuse pretty well lol.. The scale end itself is completely waterproof and hasn’t been effected by even saltwater, which this scale has been in saltwater pretty much every single day since we bought it, followed by a freshwater cleaning, it still works perfectly. I’m actually about to buy another one, only because I broke the battery compartment door tab on the display end and now that part isn’t tolerating the water splashing by my own fault so won’t turn on if the display end gets wet. But it’s a trooper and after drying completely still works perfectly!! Yes, I’m still going to be using it and having a plastic cover for that part. But it’s a good idea to have a backup scale and honestly after borrowing a few different types while mine was drying, this is still The one.Thank you for making such a fabulous easy to use and transport scale!! And anyone looking, I Highly highly Highly recommend this one!

The scale was great for a couple of weeks and it soon stop working due to the fact the cable going into the plate(place items to be weight on) came loose and was no longer able to use.

A must for home food preservation.
I do a lot of home food preservation. This includes processing poultry that we raise, making sausage and canning. An accurate scale is a must have and this fits the bill. It won’t replace the small kitchen scales that are typically used for weighing ingredients for baking, but it’s a must have for larger tasks.

BEWARE!! Inaccurate and dangerous
When you process nearly 300lbs of meat a month, you need a decent scale. The only thing decent is the detachable readout and larger scale base. That’s it.The first scale I received was damaged by the manufacturer. A bent corner was causing significant discrepancies in weight.So I ordered a replacement.No damage to the scale base and initial test weights did fine.So I used it while processing 2 batches of meat. I tested each mode, re-tared, and reweighed everything. But always came up with a 2-3lb discrepancy against a proven scale for 40lbs of meat.I toyed with the idea of keeping it.As I picked up the base to look at the bottom, a metal edge caught my finger and sliced a curve about 1/2″ long.It’s obvious LEM wants to turn a profit. They used all of the features you’d want in a larger scale, but execution and materials are more than lacking.It’s going back and I will definitely think twice before ordering another LEM product.

Like every aspect of it: looks, easy of use and accuracy. It is especially nice that a scale with a full capacity of 150 kg can still measure all the way down to 250 g and all this in 50 g increments. Amazing.

that it only has a one year warranty. I was hoping for at least 3 years. nevertheless, it is being used at the local soup kitchen, though not in the kitchen.l it is being used in the front end of the family services where food is distributed to the low income families and single men/women that are in need of the services. so far those staff that have used it for weighing the food distributed/documented have all said it is better than how they were weighing, using a bathroom scale. thanks again
