Awkward
While shipping and assembly were 5-star quality, the chair sits very awkwardly, almost feeling out of proportion. The seat is very long, leaving my feet an inch or two off the floor, so I have to scoot forward leaving an inch or two gap between my back and the chair back. The back does not lock into place in an upright position – it is either reclines a bit or a lot, but not stationary in an upright position. I can make it work with a pillow. The back is also much shorter than expected. Had I tried it out in a store, I would not have purchased. The seat seams firm and supportive, so the chair will suffice for now-with a pillow behind my back.

Decent chair
This chair is reasonably comfortable, not too difficult to put together, and seems to be of good quality. My only complaint is that it sits quite high even at the lowest setting, so my feet don’t fully touch the floor when I sit all the way back, and I’m not a short person. Its a little annoying and renders the tilt function useless, but I like the chair well enough to deal with it. I spent too long agonizing over which office chair to pick, and it isn’t enough of a nuisance for me to want to start that process over again.

Misleading Product Dimensions – Not a High-Back Chair
I purchased this chair specifically because it was advertised as having a high back—that’s the only reason I chose this model over less expensive options. The product listing and illustration clearly indicate a back height of 27” from the seat. After fully assembling the chair, I measured and found it to be only 23 3/4”. That’s a significant difference and a clear misrepresentation.What I received is a mid-back chair, not a high-back executive chair as promised. To make matters worse, when I tried to return it, I found the hydraulic cylinder could not be removed from the base, making repackaging impossible. With no return option available, I’m now stuck with a chair I don’t want—and out over $300.It’s incredibly frustrating to be misled like this. I expect better from a brand like La-Z-Boy and the retailers that carry them. If accurate product specifications aren’t honored, customers have no way to make informed decisions.

Get full grain leather or at least top grain and the look lasts many years longer.
This is made of bonded leather so it won’t look good forever. There are a couple spots on the back side that are already looking shabby.
