A game changer for creators with limited space
I absolutely LOVE this monopod because it takes a fraction of the space of a conventional tripod, making it less likely to be tripped over, and way more versatile to move around.I love the fact that I can fit it into tight spaces that were too small for a tripod such as between my desk and a nearby bookcase. In fact, the flat bottom even lets you slide it under furniture so you have even more flexibility to move it right next to other furniture or move it so the pole is right against a desk and the base slides nearly underneath it. For that reason alone it’s the perfect mount for a lot of content creators who do talking head videos while seated at a desk. The biggest thing for me is that I’m also a lot less likely to trip over the legs in my cramped studio space. The base is just the right size to ensure it remains stable, but for those who are concerned about tipping it over, you can easily place sandbags or weights on the flat bottom. The top of the pole is a standard screw mount, so you can attach floating heads, lights or just about anything. It’s well made and very sturdy, and it locks in place with even the heaviest camera or lighting rig.

Pretty much exactly what I expected. Great stand
Exactly what I was looking for. Very sturdy and high quality. Does wonders in my cramped studio space.

  3. Patricia

    Perfect for Photo Booth
This was exactly what I needed to set up a Photo Booth for my mom’s 90 birthday celebration. I was afraid my old tripod stand was too flimsy and a trip hazard. This tripod is very sturdy with a heavy base. It holds my phone and iPad. I like that versatility.

  4. Powershopper

Great idea, small footprint. High extension.
Good for lights or as a stand, not stable enough for my camera to live stream (manfrotto video head and full frame Sony with 70 to 200) too much swaying. But I do love the form factor. Used it for my stobes with a sandbag on the base as an added safety.

  5. Russ and Kari

    Very durable poles
Very easy to put together and transport to my video production shoots. More compact than the old style I had that you tripped over the legs. Very functional. The price is good for the quality. I ended up buying one more.

I’ve been waiting for this product for awhile…
I had big lighting stands that took up 3-4 get of floor space and I live in a small apartment. I’ve always wanted something like this but it’s never been available until now. This thing is a huge space saver and plus it is as sturdy as my small rig loghting stands and takes up almost no space because you can step on the base of the stand. If i lost or broke this today, i would be on amazon the same minute re-ordering it without hesitation

  7. Cruiseman

Finally! Been waiting years for this.
I have been waiting for something like this for years. I shoot a lot of video in my garage and I have accidentally knocked over tripods causing thousands in damaged camera lenses. This is the perfect mount for cameras, lights or other gear. I fitted a ball head mount to the top and use this for cameras and lights.

  8. TerryK

Great stand when you have limited room!
I was a little worried when I ordered this but when it showed up I was very happy with the stand. Took about 3 mins to setup and put it to work! I’m using it with speedotron heads with no problem!
