Set of six Hanes high-cut women’s briefs. I purchased them when they were discounted, so I got a very good deal, and I knew from the description that the colors might vary from the listing picture, but I got what I saw and I’m happy with the colors and the cotton fabric (I always look for cotton panties, 100% cotton if possible). The stitching, fit, and feel are good.Note, I’m usually around size 8 1/2 and they don’t have half sizes so I sized up to 9 and they fit (in other words they may run slightly small).I would buy these again.

I love Hanes hi-cut panties. They don’t bind around the legs but aren’t low like a bikini panty. However, this order seems to be a little snug. Same thing when I last bought another set. Not sure why but these feel the same as when I bought the size smaller. I went up a size because I gained 9 pounds and wanted to be comfortable.

Decent value…if you don’t care about the color and you order one size up.
Where to begin…first of all, do not expect your panties to look the picture. I received the six pair assorted like this: two pair each of the solid colors I will describe as this: spilled blush wine, blood and a brown which is an unmentionable 4-letter word that starts and ends in the letter “p”. TThankfully, I am not fussy about color as they don’t show through my mostly black wardrobe. I purchased these to replace some Jockey hipsters I bought recently which did not provide nearly enough coverage in the crotch area. I had read all the reviews and ordered up a size, so I tried a pair on and found they fit. I was used to hi-cut panties that came up a little closer to the waist than these and found they were more of a hipster height. I re-read the description and didn’t find any claim as far as how high they are supposed to fit, so buyer beware. I compared the sizes of each pair and found more than a 1.5″ variance between them. I tossed them in the washer and dryer (cold, low heat) and was pleased when I took them out as the somewhat thin cotton fabric had shrunk up enough to make them thicker. They still fit, which was key. However, the blood color ran all over a lighter colored garment in the same load. Sadly, I could not remove the stain. I placed these two pair in the sink and ran water over them and there was still plenty of dye coming out of them. These two pair will have to come out of the rotation, as I can’t risk another accidental laundry accident. The good news is that even after washing and drying, they fit well enough. I wore a pair yesterday, and found they did not roll down or bind in any way and the high cut of the leg openings was very comfortable. Overall, a decent product for a good price if you don’t mind what color you wear, and you are a more careful laundry sorter than me.

I am 5’5, 172# and these were not comfortable at all. The waist was not ‘giving’ but tight around my waist. It says they will not ride up-they do. They are stretchy but I found a little too stretchy and that is why they can ride up. I suppose if you are a small waisted person these would fit you better. I have worn hanes for years and they have never ridden up nor where so tight around my waist, at the end of the day they left a mark. The way they are making them now are just not comfortable for me. I will go to another brand.

I have been buying Hanes panties that look just like this in the package for years, and always the same size. These are NOT the same as they used to be! They are extremely thin and cheap-feeling. In addition, though they are labeled as being my usual size, they are much, much smaller. When I laid one on top of a pair I bought a year or so ago, these were at least 2″ narrower from side to side and shorter top to bottom. Same size on the label but easily 2-3 sizes smaller (and therefore useless).I bought these at the last minute for a trip. Since the package looked the same, and the labeled size was right, I tossed them right in the washer since I need to pack them. It is possible that they shrunk 2″ in the wash. I did notice while unwrapping them that he quality was very poor, but I didn’t have time to replace them. Since they have been washed, rather than returning them to Amazon, I am using the “Satisfaction Guaranteed” info on the package and I am sending them to the company, to the address they provide for such things (Hanes, not the seller), with my request for a refund (they offer refund or exchange if you are not completely satisfied). We’ll see what happens. In the meantime, do yourself a favor and, even if you liked these in the past, heed these reviews and choose another brand.10/12/12 — I had actually pretty much forgotten about these, but today a check came in the mail from Hanes, refunding me $10 for the already-washed panties. Obviously you are better off simply returning them to Amazon as soon as you see what they are like, but this does work as a back-up.
