LOVE-But BEWARE! Runs 2X + sizes too BIG, extreme stretch
I do love love these jeans.Been yrs since found any to wear due to fit. As evidenced by entire large plastic tote of tags on, brand new jeans, too late to return- all don’t fit in some way. I’m not picky either. The many other brands cannot wear.These Gloria V’s are amazing. Comfortable, soft, w/ pockets/belt loops needed. And seam quality is good- don’t see the stitch errors you can on economical jeans. Appearance of these Amanda Gloria V’s are much better quality.I’m 5’4, notoriously stuck btwn pant lengths. Petite are almost capri’s (I don’t wear); avg I’m walking on bottom of pants. Always plan on getting them hemmed, never do. Then the pant bottoms are eventually torn & stained a filthy color.These average length Amanda jeans fit me very well. They’re a little long, but no where near close to walking on the bottoms.There IS one pretty major issue- I wear size 18/20 on all brands, types of pants for years. Jeans, dress pants, casual, even 1pc dresses can’t be any smaller. I can’t ever find pants that fit-my hips are much smaller than waist & muffin top 😆Ordered these in 18w, fit well maybe little loose which really made me happy. Yet did feel nice & supported too. Well within< 5 min walking around house, they suddenly fell completely to floor while mid stride. They’d already stretched out just to accommodate any movements.Okay, so ordered 16 reluctantly- haven’t worn 16 in a verrrryy long time. Kept the 18 just in case. They came, put them on- felt perfect. Little snug to zip up but fine. This time added belt, went out to concert. Stood up from seat after concert-even w/ belt, jeans almost fell right off. Had to hold up until finally home. They had stretched out that much just sitting in them.Took deep breath, ordered 14. Never thought I’d get on. Laid down flat as can, bf had to pull zipper up, I couldn’t. He struggled for good 5min; finally got it. Still didn’t trust- wore belt.We went out for breakfast, then stopped at stores. By beg. of 1st store- jeans again completely stretched out & I needed to find restroom to tighten belt again. Once home- jeans wouldn’t stay up w/o tight belt.I LOVE being able to see my jean tag w/ a sz haven’t had in decades! Still can’t believe it.BUT- they’re a good couple sizes smaller than my norm. Even then- strongly suggest a belt.Amazing jeans once you know sizes!

GREAT buy, excellent fit for my body type.
Ohmygosh! If you’re trying to decide whether or not to get these jeans, I’m going to encourage you to definitely go for them! They are a GREAT value, really well made, extremely comfortable and look great too.To give you a frame of reference, I’m 5’1.5”, weigh 158 lbs (and I’m continuing to lose) with an hourglass figure. Not a perfect hourglass as there’s more sand in that bottom area than I really like but pretty near a standard hourglass. I ordered a 16s and these are perfect albeit just a wee bit too long for me to wear flats. But with a bit of a heel they’ll fall perfectly.I will mention that I no longer like to wear tight jeans. I’m happy to have some breathing room and these have a nice fit. Not too tight but not baggy either.I usually wear NYDJ and I still have a couple of pair that I wear often. But they’ve seen better days and I felt I needed a new pair of jeans so I opted for these. I also like that the material is a bit sturdier than my old jeans.The stretchy jeans don’t work for me really.I hope this review helps you to decide. They really are a good buy!

Almost perfect, it’s a me issue
These fit perfectly in the waist and length, but I have a weird shape due to carrying a lot of weight for a couple of decades and now I really don’t know my true size, I still can’t even wrap my head around wearing a size in the single digits. I think for me, the area below the waist, (my over lapping abdominal tissue some call a fupa) to my upper thighs is accentuated, the pants aren’t tight enough to compress my sagging skin, sorry to be so descriptive, but if you carried large pregnancies or had extended and over stretched abdominal tissue, you might understand that we need some tummy control there, and sadly the Amanda style, one of my favorites back in the 90’s, doesn’t really help with that. I’m afraid to go down to a 4 or 5 and ending up with pants that are too small. Hope this helps, the quality is great, the color Hazelnut was perfect, and the material is so soft.

Fits great, comfy, slimming
They look great and are very comfortable. I’ve been buying Amanda jeans for years, I hope they’ll never stop making them. Some are a bit more elastic and some are a bit more rough, depending on color. Frisco is my new favorite, a beautiful blue and very soft. I also like the light great “frosted glass”. Black is also very comfy. Coffee color didn’t work out, was sized wrong/small. Portland is firmer, but classy. Sale prices are great, usually buy them for less than $20.

These are just right not too tight not too big. Has stretch and the extra length is perfect for boots and heels. Color is dark and vibrant. Stitching is well made. This is an excellent buy.

Nobody’s perfect
Good quality denim. Don’t have to worry if neighbors dog jumps on me; this denim won’t rip so easily. Seems cut small for a size 14, but has some elasticity, so i was able to put them on just now. I haven’t worn them the entire day yet. Hopefully, they’ll stretch a bit more. Cut lower in the hip area than i like, so while sitting, best to tuck in a long t-shirt(or something)or else show butt crack. Not typical of GLoria V jeans, from past memories; her jeans are usually a lot more roomier in the hip with a higher waist.

One of my favorite pairs of jeans!
These are one of my favorite pairs of jeans! The fit, the color, the sizing, and the style are all perfect! The fabric has just enough give to make them fit perfectly, and wear comfortably. I have purchased jeans for $125.00 or more for a pair that are hanging in my closet unworn, because they are not as flattering. Not these, and they are the perfect weight to wear year round. They come in so many different color and size combinations you are sure to find a pair that is right for you.

Very impressed that the measurements shown on the chart in the pictures were reasonably accurate, was a little worried ordering from the States knowing their were differences between US and UK sizes. Now I know I can trust the chart and like the fit of these proper ladies means I can safely order more.Lovely soft comfortable material.
