Customers say
Customers find the dinnerware set to be of nice quality, with perfect size and shapes that work well for dinner-sized portions of soups, and appreciate its beautiful appearance and value for money. The dishes are easy to clean and do well in the dishwasher. While some customers report that their pieces held up well in the microwave and dishwasher, others mention that the edges chip easily. The color receives mixed feedback, with some praising the gorgeous pure white finish while others note imperfections in the coating. The weight is also mixed, with some finding it perfect while others say it’s heavier than expected.

Amazing Customer Service
I ordered these bowls because it was cheaper than some other options considering it comes with 16 pieces instead of 12. I LOVE the look of these, they are so sleek and I love the rim on the plates. While I haven’t run them through the dishwasher (I usually hand wash), they seem pretty durable. The plates and bowls don’t stack perfectly, but it’s not very noticable even with my exposed dish cabinet. The large plates are HUGE.One of my small bowls came with a pretty significant crack, to the point where if I put some pressure on it, I could hear the bowl shifting. However, the customer service was top notch. I sent them an email and they got back to me the next business day. SAVE your box because they will request a photo of it! The replacement process was a little vague, saying that it would take up to 15 business days and that it was possible that I wouldn’t get an exact replacement. I also did not recieve a tracking number. However, I recieved not one, but TWO bowls four days later, surrounded in packing peanuts and bubble wrap. I’m very happy with the customer service.

Nice plates and bowls
Love this plate and bowl set. Very nice quality and were a great price. The gray color was perfect. Seem to be coming up well and they are a bit heavy but I feel they will last a good amount of time. Clean up easy

Overall a good set of dishes
I’ve had this set for about 2 years now and they’ve held up really well, plus they look very nice. I feel like when I put my food on them it always looks better! They are heavy, but that’s okay, it gives them a quality feel. The only complaint I have is that they get crazy hot in the microwave. I actually had to come back to the page and check if they were microwave safe. I don’t mean warm, it’s like burn your hand after a minute and then another 30 seconds after stirring. Otherwise, this set is good and overall I’m happy I bought them.

Love them!
I absolutely love these dishes. I ordered three sets and none of them arrived chipped or broken. They are great quality. We use them for our everyday dishes. They stack well and are microwave and dishwasher safe. We’ve had them for a few weeks and so far so good!

It’s just OK (detailed review)
I bought two sets of these dishes to replace my 10-year-old everyday stoneware. I’ve only been using them for about a week so I can’t speak to durability, but they seem heavy, solid, and probably able to withstand daily use pretty well.Pros:1. Well packaged, all 32 pieces arrived intact without chip or blemish.2. High-gloss finish (although this could be a negative for some, I wasn’t expecting it and would have preferred a more matte finish but in re-reading the description, it says glossy—and it really is so I guess it’s accurately described)3. Love the dinner/pasta bowl and that is the main reason I chose this set—rare to find a reasonably priced set that includes both pasta and cereal bowls. It’s very plain bowl, as you would expect, but it’s well sized and very functional. Feels good in the hands and looks nice on the table.4. It’s a very heavy set. Again this could be a negative (it was for me, I was expecting a more porcelain-type feel and weight), but if you’re used to stoneware or ceramic and like that heft, you’ll love this set.Cons:1. Lots of minor imperfections and irregularities in individual pieces. If they were hand glazed or hand finished or whatever, that would be fine, but it speaks to a lack of quality control in manufacturing and makes them look and feel cheap. Which, let’s be honest, they kind of are for the number of pieces you get, so I guess you get what you pay for. But if you’re looking for a set that can do double duty on the kitchen table and the dining table, this isn’t it. I would not use these for anything but casual dining, just too clunky and cheap-looking. It also makes me worry about longevity and durability.2. The Gibson stamp and writing on the underside of the plates smears and begins to disappear after just a few turns through the dishwasher. Probably not a big deal since most people won’t inspect the bottom of their plates but again, it indicates a cheapness that I find unexpected and off-putting. I didn’t expect Mikasa or Lenox quality at this price, but I did expect something nicer than you could buy by the piece at ikea or Walmart. This feels very much like the latter so I feel like it’s misrepresented as to what you’re actually getting. And because of that, I don’t think the price is all that great. You can get similar plates at Walmart for about $2 each for dinner and appetizer plates and the quality is about the same. So these feel overpriced for the quality of the set. If the pasta bowls weren’t included, I would have given this set 1-2 stars but that addition brings the value up a bit just because they are so hard to find at a good price because they’re so trendy right now.3. The white is more of a grayish white—which again might be fine if that’s what you’re looking for. I was hoping for a true white, my tableware and linens are in warm tones. The grayish cast is very noticeable in sunlight and normal kitchen lighting.Bottom line:This set is budget priced but presents as cheap—I feel like it’s a step below what you would expect at this price point. It’s probably fine for casual dining, you get a very nice variety of pieces to suit most needs. But it would look very out of place alongside your nice serving pieces on the dining table. In retrospect, I would not buy again but repacking and returning is too much work. Not really happy with this purchase but might be equal parts my fault for expecting an actual bargain and the manufacturer’s for representing this as something more than cheap ceramic dinnerware.

They say you get what you pay for. Bought 2 of these to replace my old dinnerware. Each plate and bowl has a dimple/bump in the middle of the dish. Some areas around the plate rims are rough so not properly vitrified. The description state that they are lightweight, they are not. They are closer to ceramic than fine porcelain. I might be biased as I am replacing bone china that I use every day which is quite lightweight and fine. I am returning both sets.
