This is a replacement for a Martha Stewart container. I was worried it wouldn’t be the same I was used to. But it’s great. Spots are bigger to accommodate larger eggs. The brown egg is huge and it fits. One of the white is tiny and it fits.I don’t like putting the paper carton in my fridge. I’ve grown to love being able to see how many are left at a glance. We have two. Each one holds 14 eggs (why not a dozen, I don’t know). They stack perfectly and take up the same amount of space as two boxes of eggs from the store.

Firm protection for your eggs that takes only a modest amount of refrigerator space, especially helpful if your fridge does not have an egg section in the door — or one that does not hold enough. Capacity of 14 accomodates a new dozen plus a couple remaining from the last carton. Highly recommend.

Pros: reasonably priced, good quality, definitely fits large eggs, better than flimsy cardboard egg holders from the supermarket. It’s super easy to hand wash then dry!Cons: the lid does not snap on tight so if you need it to travel in a cooler, secure with a couple elastic bands! It’s a little bit heavy when it’s full of 14 eggs, so best to pay attention when taking it out of the fridge.Neutral: for those of you who don’t want to hand wash the holder in warm water then dry, this might not be for you because you definitely can’t put it in the dishwasher!
