My workplace only has a microwave as a means of heating food. I find that microwaves don’t cook the food uniformly and usually makes me very aware that I am eating leftovers. This mini-crock pot uniformly heats the food to the perfect temperature and the leftovers taste more like they did when they were first cooked.The crock-pot was smaller than I had imagined, but that turned out to be a bonus because it’s easier to pack and transport. I also like the idea that I can leave the actual crock-pot at work and simply bring the inner container to and from work. The twist on seal is very secure and, in my opinion, is far more secure to transport than a Tupperware-type container.The inner container holds almost an entire can of Juanita’s soups…Almost. You’ll have to leave out 5+oz of broth to avoid overfilling, otherwise you’ll make a big mess (don’t ask how I know). If I had read the can I would have discovered that it contains 25oz of soup. This 20oz crock-pot means exactly 20oz. An entire can of Juanitas is pretty filling though, so the size of the inner container is nearly perfect as far as I’m concerned. 5 more oz would make it completely perfect am I right @Crock-Pot Brand. :-pOther reviewers have mentioned that the lid is hard to remove after cooking, and that is true; however, the solution is to remove the rubber steam vent before untwisting the inner lid. The drop in pressure will make the lid way easier to twist off. I never saw a user’s manual in my box but If there is one then this tip should be in it. :-DAs long as this product remains reliable I expect to get a lot of use out of it. I’m glad I bought it!

Convenient hot meals at work!
This little crockpot is such a great solution for hot lunches at the office. So far I’ve used it to reheat a few different soups, and a serving of mac n cheese, and everything has come out great. I keep the outer crockpot and lid at the office, filling up the removable metal insert with my food and transporting that to and from the house for cleaning. It takes 1-2 hours to warm up the contents from a room temp or refrigerated state (haven’t tried anything frozen) so I just grab the insert from the office fridge, pop it in the crock around 10-11am, and it’s ready to eat at lunchtime. I love not having to wait to use the microwave with dozens of coworkers, and it’s so much easier to eat directly out of the pot than to try to gingerly remove a blazing hot ceramic bowl full of soup from the machine. I’ll be using this probably every day through the fall and winter at least! Super happy with this purchase.

Small, compact and powerful little fella 😤 no more fishy food smell
Best lunch box I bought when it was on sale. Despite my work having multiple microwaves, I hate having to go downstairs and wait for other people to heat up their food. Then if they heat up fish I don’t want me plate to smell like fish or I stink up the place like fish. I can just connect it to my desk while on my lunch break and eat freshly heated food! No more fishy lunch smell! It may be small, but it works for me! Since it’s small it fits perfectly in my lunch bag!

Excellent find!
I put a can of Progresso soup in it, and went to work. Plugged it in when I got there, and out of curiosity, I just HAD to check it to see it it was going as planned – that was a couple hours later – opened it half expecting it to be barely warm, but I was wildly surprised… it was piping hot. By the time lunch rolled around it was perfect! Highly recommend if you want something hot for lunch. Looking forward to trying other things. Well worth the purchase!

This is perfect! I really love it. It cooks my soup, warms up my leftovers and makes lunchtime so much easier. As a teacher, I really don’t get much of a lunch break so this is great. I can put my food in it in the morning and by lunchtime it’s all cooked or warmed up. It has really helped me.I will say it does take a while to warm things up – you can’t put your food in and expect it to get done fast. But that is how crock pots work – they take time.It is easy to use – just put the food in, cover it and plug it in.It is a good size – it holds a whole can of soup or a good amount of leftovers.I am only disappointed in that it doesn’t actually cook things well. It warms things up – but I tried cooking a sweet potato in it and even hours later, it was not cooked. In a regular crock pot the potato would have been cooked. So it seems this is more for warming up than actually cooking.But as someone who wants to stay away from the microwave, this is terrific.

This little crock pot doesn’t take much space and gives just the perfect temperature! Convenient way to have a home cooked meal or leftovers for lunch at work. Lunch box comes with a cord that easily wraps around underneath. Seal really keeps the food warm and no spillage! Instead of eating fast food and spending more…this saves me money! Worth buying!!

This was the best thing I have got to keep my food warm make tea just wish it was a little bigger but other than that works real good I’m a security guard so sometimes there’s nowhere to warm up my food or my tea or my coffee and this have made it so easy for me.

La verdad es que le doy un 9.9 de calificación, ya que es perfecta para llevarla incluso a tu trabajo y de esa manera poder calentar tus alimentos, en lo personal eso es el mejor pro del producto, sin embargo, el único defecto que le encontré es que no cuenta con algún interruptor de encendido y apagado por lo que lo debes estar desconectando para que deje de calentar, de ahí en fuera, todo muy bien 👌🏻.

My last crockpot food warmer has been serving me for nine or ten years. Had to buy a new one as the old one started leaking through the screw at the bottom and the lid did not close up for a while already. First thing – it is really good food warmer, in my opinion, particularly if you like soups. It is compact so you can fit it easily to a lunchbox. It heats the soup within two hours so trouble free lunch at work guaranteed.Two little things did not impressed me very much. My old crockpot – they should sell the lid part as spare part as this broke first, after couple of years of use. My new crockpot – they sent me a crockpot with US plug – I am based in UK. Not extremely difficult to fix but inconvenient. All in all – good product. Recommend it.
