Is this one of the Best Budget keyboards?
Let me start by saying I love this keyboard and though I’m not a keyboard expert by any means, but I got a lot to say about this keyboard. I’ve experienced my fair share of keyboards from regular/standard and electric (The ones with paper), wired desktop PC, laptops and your standard wireless keyboard and wanted to try out the mechanical keyboards I’d been hearing so much about, so I watched a bunch of videos to give me an idea of what to buy, which pretty much left me more confused.I came across this keyboard and saw it looked a lot like one of the pro keyboards I would have gotten had the price tag not had been over a hundred dollars. There are some pros and cons depending on how you look at it and what your looking for. It’s hot-swappable which means you can change out the keycaps and switches like the more expensive keyboards (Pro). The number %5 key went flying past me when I was typing at the blazing speed of about 15 WPM, so I had to hunt down these keycaps which was not easy to find, as I like the shape style and feel of the caps and unfortunately it doesn’t appear that Darkflash sells them like the more expensive keyboards do, some keycap sets can range from 10 to nearly 200 USD(Con).I’m not a gamer so I don’t know about gaming on it and apparently some gaming keyboards come with driver software and other things this may not come with. This keyboard has batteries I can change out when they go bad and I can get rechargeable batteries if I want rather than the battery packs that most come with which can be considered a pro or con depending on preference for me it’s (Pro). I found it very hard finding wireless keyboards that use batteries.I wanted a full sized keyboard that has everything you need (Pro), Comes with batteries (Pro), Battery saver (Pro), The keyboard goes into sleep mode within a second of non use and is super responsive when you start typing again as if it was never in sleep mode (Pro). The mouse will also go into sleep mode after some time has passed, to wake it use left or right click, scrolling/mouse wheel or clicking the extra middle button wakes it up instantly, some may see this as a pro or a con, but having a keyboard and mouse that goes into sleep mode saving battery life and wakes up with a quick response, to me is a (Pro). The mouse has a very comfortable ergonomic design but is quiet on clicks which is either a pro or con depending on preference, I’m now confused as to which I like better, to click or not to click that is the question 🤔️.This keyboard also comes with a few pre-programmed shortcuts using the fn key for the missing activity buttons that are usually above the F key row for those who liked having the next, play, mail, etc.. options at the top (Pro). The keyboard weighs about (Guessing) 2lbs and doesn’t feel cheep at all (Pro). The keycaps it comes with can be considered a pro or con, as similar keyboards can come without keycaps or switches and when they do they seem to come with a similar type of ABS double shot keycaps and It looks as if many people spend more upgrading to PBT keycaps that can cost more than the board itself which I think is worth mentioning as it seems most keyboard companies seem to know your going to change the caps and switches at some point in the many videos I watched this is the norm for keyboard enthusiasts.A lot of videos show keyboards that come with RGB lighting don’t shine through the the stock caps very good or at all, so knowing this made me less upset when the number five/percent keycap broke from my superman speed typing. I didn’t bother contacting the company or seller as I was able to find a (Exact Match) cheep enough set, I planned to get a backup set anyway, but for some this can be considered a deal breaker. If you just need a full sized keyboard to type on and want to see what the hype of switching to a mechanical keyboard is like, then I believe this is a great keyboard. After finding and replacing the %5 keycap I can honestly say I love this keyboard and can never go back to the standard non mechanical keyboard, and I actually thought about buying it again just to have a backup in case they stop selling it for some reason as it seems most companies are phasing out batteries for battery packs which means those keyboards are technically disposable or will need to stay plugged in which means it would no longer be wireless, so I prefer being able to change my batteries and knowing that as long as nothing is wrong with the keyboard that will never be a problem.

    Cheap for a reason
Mouse felt cheap but worked good. Keyboard felt good but didn’t work. Tried different USB ports and non dollar store batteries and still no good. Keyboard would miss every other key making typing anything a chore. Returned and got a Lenovo set at the same price and it works great.

  3. MaJar

    Works well
This keyboard and mouse both work very well. They keyboard is fluid and has a nice click sound, though maybe too sensitive to the touch. The mouse works great so far on the same battery I put in since I got it back on February 8 and I use it for a few hours daily editing photos

  4. Victoria

    Great look
The color is great. The mouse is a bit larger than expected/used to but moves smoothly. The keyboard is very loud – if you want a silent keyboard, do not buy this. Keyboard is pretty sturdy and has some weight to it so not that convenient to lift or move around.

Very clicky sound – love it
I like this thing. I would say if you like a “clicky” keyboard, you should consider this. The angle of the keyboard slightly less than I’m used to, so I like it on an articulating keyboard stand rather than the desk, but I love the feel of a mechanical keyboard and this is it. It feels good.

  6. P. Hudson

    Noisy
I liked the design and key structure but it is noisy and the keys sometimes don’t register. I haven’t had it very long but long enough to not be able to return it.

  7. tiffany franklin

    LOVE THIS KEYBOARD
I love this keyboard. Easy to use, functional for every day office work. No lag in the keys. Great quality for the price considering most mechanical keyboards are several hundred dollars.

  8. Concept is great, design not so much…

    Ok Quality/ Missing Parts
I loved the color of this keyboard. Unfortunately, I had to return it as soon as I got it. The keyboard doesn’t lay flat so it wobbles, plus there were parts missing and I couldn’t connect it to my computer. Wish it would have worked out but just not worth the buy or the trouble on sending it back.
