Runs large but a perfect accent to you figure fit
Yes! As all others have said these jeans do run large but in fairness these jeans are made for the curvy girl who is small in the waist with hips and rounded rear ends. But I am 5’9 with a flat rear and thick thighs so I normally wear a size 12/14 and skinny jeans turn into muffin top jeans on me. I needed a straight leg jean with a little higher waist that didn’t look like mom jeans. After reading the reviews I chose a size 12 but Way too big is an understatement. What I loved was how dark the black jeans are and not that awful greyish black that has become popular. I returned them easily and the exchange arrived quickly within 3 days of me mailing back the return.Now I love the size 10 and while an 8 may fit tighter in the rear, the 10 fits my hips well without squeezing them (giving an hourglass shape) and the waist is comfortable enough that even if they draw up after washing I will be able to zip them up. With a belt I can pull them up higher to hide my lack of “booty” with out losing the length. The length is perfect for sneakers or heals.I do not have that totum pole leg look as the jeans hug my thighs just above the knees then loosens to make my thighs look slimmer. Then at the knee it sort of gathers so it is straight but not straight as a “pole”. This is that classic jean that I was looking for and I am extremely happy to find them. So happy that I ordered a pair in Horizon for my daughter since she is curvy both in hips and rear so she should fill these jeans out well while having a more slimming look. If these do not draw up in the wash then I will try Horizon in an 8 and see if those will be too small since I am in a middle size I may be better off not going down another size.Still overall these are excellent, sturdy, true to color, year round jeans and once you find your size you will want a pair in every color.

Love these ordering more colors
These slacks are great. I love them. They fit as if they were made for me. I’m 5’1″ weigh 120 lbs I ordered an 8 medium and I couldn’t be any happier. These are form fitting in all the right places. I will be ordering more in different colors.

The color and fit was great.
I ordered these in black in an 8 short. The fit was perfect except they were a bit longer than expected but with my boots, they will be fine. I liked them so well that I ordered another pair in the color Ellis. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the length. They have just the right amount of stretch to fit the waist snugly but not uncomfortably tight.

Great fit
So happy to have found a great fit. I’m short 5’1 it’s so hard to get a good length. 14 short is a great fit. These jeans are dark. I’d prefer a little lighter but I’ll take these for the best fit!! So happy. I have been ordering jeans back & forth long enough. Comfort is great. You can freely move around. Slimming look. Yet there some stretch but not enough that you lose the shape of the jean.

These pants were a lot better 6 months ago.
I bought two pair of these pants last spring that fit and feel great. This new pair is not 100% cotton, as stated. It’s 71% cotton plus some synthetic stuff. There is a strong chemical odor right out of the bag. The fit is also different – tight in the waist and overall too snug (despite being the same size). The length is good. I’m 5’9 and 130# and this 8L is going back.
