I used to have a Blue Yeti mic, and the HyperX Quadcast 2 S is a clear improvement. The sound quality is noticeably crisper and more natural, and it doesn’t pick up as much background noise. It’s also not as bulky or distracting on my desk, which I appreciate.The RGB lighting looks really nice without being super over the top. Setup was super easy. Literally just plug it in and use it, no issues at all.So far, I honestly don’t have any flaws to point out. It does exactly what I need for calls and recording clips, while looking good on my desk. Great mic, little pricy, but its dipping the toes into higher end mics so its understandable
I had been using knock off apple earbuds for a long time(i still do for audio haha) but lately people have been complaining my mic cuts out or is too quiet etc – so i finally gave in and got myself this mic – not a single word since(except how much better it is). You could probably do ASMR on this if you wanted to lol – it has all sorts of audio modes. I like the single directional one since I have a wall right in front of me (and behind the mic) so sound bounces the wall and would normally cause an echo, but this mic just ignores it and sounds great regardless. Its very well made, I don’t think anyone would have anything bad to say about the build quality, its got a nice metal frame and a built in pop filter which is good enough for my use. It is just plug and play. If you have a little money to spare and are looking for a mic – I don’t think you can go wrong with this one

Incredibly excellent
I’ve tried several USB microphones, the HyperX Quadcast S and now this new version and I must say it’s great, the materials compared to the previous one are truly premium. Regarding functionality, the microphone meets all expectations, even at some point I feel that there is an improvement in sound capture compared to the previous version. If you want to invest in a good microphone and want to invest in true quality, there is no doubt that this is the best on the market being USB C. Once again HyperX hits a home run.

Great mic, but pricey for what it offers
The HyperX QuadCast 2 S is an impressive microphone, both in design and performance, but it comes with a hefty price tag that may give some pause. After spending some time with it, here’s what stood out:Setup and Design:Straight out of the box, the QuadCast S 2 feels like a premium product. The setup process was generally straightforward, and I had it ready to use within minutes. The included shock mount and stand were nice touches, making it a plug-and-play solution for most users.The standout feature is the customizable RGB lighting. It’s vibrant, modern, and adds a cool aesthetic to any streaming or recording setup. However, customizing the lighting through the software (HyperX NGENUITY) was a mixed bag.Software Challenges:While the hardware is stellar, the software leaves much to be desired. Adjusting lighting and mic sound controls via the app was frustrating at times. Some settings just didn’t apply no matter how many tweaks I made, and the interface could use a clearer layout for better usability. For such an expensive mic, I expected a more polished experience.Performance:In terms of sound quality, this microphone is excellent. The QuadCast 2 S offers clear, crisp audio with plenty of options to tailor it to your needs (four polar patterns, gain control, etc.). Whether you’re streaming, podcasting, or recording voiceovers, it captures a professional-level sound with minimal effort.Is It Worth It?:This is undeniably a high-quality microphone, but it’s also one of the pricier options on the market. If you have the extra money to spend, it’s a great choice, especially for its audio clarity and aesthetic appeal. That said, if budget is a concern, there are other mics that deliver solid performance at a lower price point—just without the bells and whistles.
