Love this egg cooker. Love it so much that each of my college kids have one! Makes peeling eggs so easy, too! It’s small and can tuck away nicely in a drawer or cabinet. I’ve never had an egg burn and they always cook perfectly! It’s very quiet while it’s cooking. Just super easy to use!

A must-have for hard boiled egg lovers
I’ll never boil eggs in a pan of water again. I’ve “hard boiled” several dozen eggs since getting this and it’s been fantastic. The directions are straightforward, the device is simple to use, and the results are great.Make sure you poke a hole in the shell before cooking, using the provided tool. It was a bit disconcerting at first, as I expected the egg to shatter, but it was no problem. Also, make sure to place the cooked eggs in cold water when they’re done.The alarm that sounds when it’s ready is a bit loud and mildly annoying, but no biggie.It’s small and will not take up a lot of storage space.The amount of water you use will determine the “hardness” of the eggs when done. So you can easily achieve eggs cooked to your liking.It comes with an omelette tray that is only good for two, one egg “omelettes”, but it’s kinda cool.The bottom line is you get a perfectly cooked, easy to peel egg. For the money, it’s great and I’d recommend it to anyone that hates the unpredictable and cumbersome process of boiling eggs in a pan.

Faster and easier cooking/peeling flawlessly every time
Game changer!!! Cooks eggs so much more quickly-and gets it right every time. AND they peel so much more easily! My family loves deviled eggs at big family get togethers, and now I can make it so quickly-and flawlessly, without the egg whites getting ruined during peeling. I do wish this product came in a larger size for cooking larger batches. That being said I made a couple dozen in less time using this, than it would have taken putting them all in a large pot. They were all cooked before the pot would have raven come to a boil. And peeling is so much easier and faster. The alarm is perhaps a little loud for my taste, however we are empty nesters now and used to a quieter home in general-I suspect that in a house with the tv blasting or kids loudly playing, the alarm would be perfect to hear over the din. I do wish there was an automatic turn off if we can’t quickly get to the appliance to manually shut it off. I don’t notice any water leakage, and there is less possibility of burning my hand with this than moving a pot of boiling water to the sink. My husband is not one for buying lots of appliances-but he LOVES this and said it was a fabulous purchase.

I’m Sold!
This is pretty terrific. I wondered if it would end up in a closet but no, it’s a great little appliance. Does what it says, does it well, and does it quickly. And cleanup is a snap also. I haven’t tried making an omelet yet but soft boiled and poached eggs are perfect. It’s only defect is that it lacks an automatic shutoff. It does, however, have a chime that continues to ring until you turn it off.

1 Star based on purchase and return process, no knowledge of how this item works as cannot be used in UK Plug Socket! I am dissappointed that an Item sold on the Amazon UK site does not make it clearer that it is not suitable for use in the UK as it runs on 110v. Fine if you can plug it into a shaver point, but pretty useless in the normal scenario of a UK kitchen. As it was bought as a present it wasn’t opened until Christmas Day, so doubly dissappointing/embarrassing as a gift!There should be a clearer notification in the description, not left for someone (me in this case) to check out the Tech Spec, again not something I generally feel I have to do purchasing an electrical item on the Amazon UK website. Now to cap it all, the return address is in the US, and the return instructions are very confusing. You print off a label with a small DHL carrier logo in the top right hand corner, but it is not accepted by our Post Offices and the nearest DHL drop off is an hour away. On top of that the instructions say you have to pay for the postage, which is then included in the refund, if appropriate, even though the return has been “accepted” by Veonx, so the label should be postage paid and sendable through any Post Office. Not happy!
