Snaggle –
Good story, moves quickly
Fast-paced and quite short, so a very quick read. Good writing, I’d say, very twisty story (as thrillers do tend to be), but definitely needed some better proofing. Overall, quite a good story, and I’d love to see the TV version.

Pretty good!
Very different storyline. I thought I had it figured out, but I was wrong! I liked the ending. The only reason I knocked off one star is because everything that transpired was so convoluted that it was highly unlikely, and hard to believe.

Watch The Series Instead
The TV series is incredible. The book is a disappointment. Trying to hard to make twists without explaining the plot clearly. The first half of the book was boring to me, and the change in POV throughout was highly distracting. The ending is good if you’re willing to wait. I would highly advise watching the series.

TOO MUCH TWISTS!!!
Marissa’s four year old son, Milo, is kidnapped; the story revolves around who did the kidnapping and why.It started with a bang! Marissa learning that her son is not at his playdate and is indeed kidnapped. What follows is the harrowing effect of that to Marissa and her husband, Peter, even to their friends and family. It has two more POVs, that of Jenny, the other mother who hired the Nanny that kidnapped Milo (this is not a spoiler as it will be revealed immediately just a few chapters after); and Irene, the mother of the Nanny/kidnapper.After the kidnapping, things slow down a bit as the story flits from other POVs, going back to days of weeks before the kidnapping, instead of moving forward in the story, where the interest really is.At 51% in my kindle, the story finally moved forward with some developments in the kidnapping, few characters died or killed (which have minimal impact as they were killed off behind the scenes). At the last quarter of the book, twists were piled on top of the other which you don’t have time to digest of appreciate. Most of the twists are okay, bordering on incredulity but still believable. There’s a final twist which I really find unbelievable. (Really? The Marissa – ang the other mother – did not notice this?) I guess, you just have to swallow it to enjoy the ride. There are more twists in the epilogue where you would say: ah, okay.Overall, I enjoyed this one despite the slowing down after the interesting opening. This is a four star read for me.

Stunning!
Absolutely could not stop reading this book. I will think of it for a while. Such a roller coaster of a thriller and keeps you guessing.

Great thriller!
Marissa arranges a play date with another school mom, she went to pick up her son and when she go to the address – her son was not there- nor the school mom. There was an older lady whom told her that she got the address wrong. Marissa’s son was now missing!! A terrible nightmare for any mom. As the story unfolds there are so many revelations and twists- right up to the end. I was on the edge of my seat!! Definitely recommend!!

I love this author but this one is particularly twisted and the end ( Maybe I should say : the ends… ) is breathtaking and unpredictable.

Andrea Mara is one of my go to authors. I’ve held back from watching the series until I had read the book but will definitely be watching it now after finishing it.The story mainly alternates between two characters, Marissa and Jenny. Marissa is the mother of the missing boy and Jenny is the mother whose son Marissa had thought her son had gone on a playdate to. What unfolds is a tense, at times heartbreaking as well as shocking read.It has to be a mother’s worst nightmare their child being taken. Why their child? There were so many questions running through my mind whilst reading this story. Marissa and her husband are obviously struggling and are doing everything they can to find their little boy. Jenny is bound by guilt due to the fact that even though she knew nothing about the playdate, it was her son Milo was supposedly having it with. It brings the two mothers together and both are determined to find out answers. There was so much to keep you hooked in the story. The joys of the playground drop offs and pickups, secrets, lies, I could go on but honestly, I could not put it down and read it in a day. I hadn’t expected things to unravel the way they did so it all comes as a surprise and had me racing through the pages. All Her Fault was just brilliant! Hands down this is the author’s best book yet which is saying something as have loved all her books but this one, wow, it really grabs hold and doesn’t let you go. It messed with my head and the all important conclusion absolutely blew me away. I definitely needed time to process what I had read after finishing it as I was completely shocked by the outcome. Loved, loved, loved it!
