The Ninja SL401 Double Stack Air Fryer has been a practical addition to my kitchen. I did notice that food on the rack tends to come out slightly crispier than food on the bottom plate, which works well for different textures.Cleaning is straightforward, as the racks and baskets are removable and easy to wash. The Smart Finish feature ensures that both the top and bottom baskets finish cooking at the same time, making it easy to serve multiple types of food together. This feature has resolved the issue of staggered meals I faced with my previous air fryer. Best dual air fryer!
I initially bought one on the Nellis site for $10 to see if I would like using and air fryer…. and I LOVE air fryers! My first one was only a single drawer, which meant I had to wash it if I needed to make veggies after meat, while the meat got cold…. so I started researching and the Ninja got really good reviews, so I bought it. It is very well made and appears durable. The baskets are super easy to clean (get the Dawn Platinum Plus Powerwash, this stuff is magic). It has very functional, easy settings, and very intuitive to use. If you hit the Smart Finish, both foods will cook and finish at the same time, which it awesome. I really love this Ninja and hope it provides many years of “air frying”! By the way, get yourself an oil sprayer (I use olive oil only). This makes it super easy to give a light coating of oil without that nasty spray junk that they sell.

This was pricey BUT it’s a versatile cooker that I’ve been using multiple times a week. I’m glad I went with the bigger unit with all the bells and whistles even though I live alone. I’ve been using the air fryer for a month or so and I just started using both baskets…..for example a protein on the bottom and 🌽 corn on the topCorn on the cob came out as the best I’ve ever had!!! I brushed it with olive oil before cooking and I didn’t need to slather it with butter before eating-it was amazingly good!I also used the broil function this week and it was perfect compared to oven broil. I didn’t have to guard it every second to make sure it didn’t burn up, I set the temp and it did it’s thing.I can’t wait to play with the other settings like dehydrate and I want to learn how to use the function that matches cooking so both sides come out at the same time.Only complaint is the Cool function. It starts as soon as you push stop and I like my food HOT 🔥 so I have to catch it before it cools my food. I like the Cool feature just not as happy with the way it works
