Customers say

Customers find the butter roller to be a good kitchen tool that works well and is easy to use and clean. The size receives mixed feedback – while some find it nice for large parties, others say it’s too big for smaller quantities. Moreover, the wheel sits too high on the pan, and customers need to use a lot of butter for it to function properly. Value for money opinions are divided, with some considering it the best value for money while others find it not worth the cost.

Great Tool with a Learning Curve – Worth It for Serious Griddle Users
As an avid home griddle operator, I’d been wanting one of these butter rollers for ages. The trusted Cuisinart brand finally convinced me to pull the trigger. Anything I say from here on out does not reflect on the great quality of the product, stainless steel pan, and roller with easy design for quick cleaning and use. Mostly they are use case observations I had not considered myself before buying:Rookie Mistakes (So You Don’t Have To!):❌ Mistake #1 – Melting Butter Directly in Pan:Don’t do this! Butter clumps got stuck in the rolling grate, creating messy, uneven application.✅ Better Method: Pre-melt butter gently in microwave or stove top and pour into the pan. Atleast make sure you melt in the pan on the griddle long enough.❌ Mistake #2 – Multiple Passes:This thing delivers A LOT of butter in just one pass! I thought I needed multiple rolls and ended up with soggy, limp toast from over-buttering.✅ Better Method: One pass is plenty – trust the process! The Cleanup Reality:Once the pan cools, you need to decide what to do with leftover butter immediately:- Add to pancakes/scrambled eggs- Scrape and toss in paper napkin- Let it cool and scrape laterNot recommended to heat, cool and re-use. Only use enough butter – 1 stick at a time maybe?Size Considerations:⚠️ Important: This is bulky – may get in the way on medium-sized griddles. Keep this in mind for your setup. My Strategy:I save buttering toast for last after cooking everything else and cleaning the surface. Since toast only takes seconds on a griddle, this timing works perfectly.Bottom Line:Once you get past the learning curve, this is genuinely helpful for large meals where speed matters. Griddle cooking happens in real-time, and this tool eliminates a pain point.Best for: Serious griddle users making griddled sandwiches and large mealsNot for: Casual users or small griddles (overkill)Final tip: RESPECT THE BUTTER OUTPUT – it’s more than you think!Still happy with my purchase despite the initial frustrations. Good value for the price – this was the least expensive one I could find and it has the Cuisinart Brand .

The stainless steel butter wheel is absolutely amazing. It makes buttering bread so fast and easy — just roll the bread across the wheel and it’s perfectly coated. It’s super sturdy and very easy to clean. It’s perfect for making grilled cheese sandwiches (my favorite), garlic bread, or prepping buns for the grill. I wish I had brought one sooner, for sure! This was a brilliant invention! It’s totally essential for anyone who cooks in batches or loves buttery bread!!

Good quality for the cheap price.
Good quality. This is the brand I always try to buy. There products stand the test of time and last for years. Very easy to set up, clean and use. Having a very small restaurant kitchen this fits good for our space.

    Good not Amazing
When I first saw one of these I thought it was going to change my world and make doing grilled cheese sandwiches for my 6 kids a breeze! It did not. I didn’t like that in order for this to work it needs at least 3 full things of butter. You have to roll the bread a lot to even get the butter on the bread. Metal seemed to be high quality, and worked decently.

    Would recommend
Simple to use for many things and works well sitting on top of my Blackstone while I cook

  6. Tammy Tenan

    Makes buttering buns super fast
Really nice for large parties where there are a lot of buns to butter. Not the easiest to clean but worth the effort in exchange for the fast and easy buttering. Sits right on the grill for easy access and keeping the butter melted.

    Great product
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Did 200 slices of texas toast in a breeze. Wish I had purchased one years ago
