I had this chair in office and it was so comfortable. Now that I am working from home I wanted the same chair so I ordered it and I get the same support and comfort. This allows me to focus on my job.

Good chair but padded armrests deteriorate quickly
I bought this chair back in 2019 and using it daily since while working from home. It works great and is very comfortable. It doesn’t go up quite as high as some other chairs but it works perfectly for me (5’7″ = 170 cm). Not sure if this changed since but if you’re very tall, make sure to check the specs on this.The reason for 4 stars vs 5 is the padded armrests. It is a very nice feature. I have joint problems and resting my elbows comfortably is important (this is something I dislike in other chairs with hard plastic armrests). Unfortunately, the right armrest cracked after about 1.5 years of use. We fixed the crack as we could with some glue and epoxy but you can see in the picture now there is a second crack right in the middle. The crack edges are sharp, so the armrest is now very uncomfortable and scratchy. The left armrest (second picture) developed a “bump” but, thankfully, has not cracked.I would expect much more durability from an office chair, all materials included.

Couldn’t Really Ask for More
I have used this chair for about 1 year now and it has been great. I do not understand the reviews about height of chair of durability for a stated weight not working for them. It is really hard to find chairs for big people. I am about 5 feet 10 inches and over 300 lbs. So I needed a “fat boy” chair and this fits the bill. Most chairs are only rated for about 250 lbs and wear out fast. This one is as sturdy as the day I bought it. It’s not the prettiest belle at the ball but more than acceptable and has worked well for me as a nearly daily driver for a year working from home. Good seat height, good arm height adjustability, wide seat, doesn’t recline too easily for good back support, etc. I am going to buy another for my new work chair. Ironically, my new office has Hon chairs also, but not the big people model, so I will be getting this model for my office. Thank you Hon.

Garbage (not made in the USA as advertised)
Garbage! I searched on Amazon for chairs made in the USA, and this one came up — and a Google search of “where are Hon products manufactured” included the comment “HON is known for its commitment to manufacturing in the USA and promoting a “Made in the USA” model…” Very disappointed to receive the damaged box indicating “Made in Vietnam” (which often means made in China, then transshipped via Vietnam to avoid the “made in China” label, which generally means made by slave labor in China. In any event, I assembled the chair – it’s not at all comfortable – terrible. I will return to Amazon given the very poor quality and deceptive advertising.

Terrible Packaging, good chair I hope
The chair itself is pretty nice but the packaging quality is just straight up garbage. I ordered one on April 16th first and it took them a while to ship and fulfill. I was pretty excited when it arrived, then I noticed how beat up the box was. The box itself is flimsy for something of this size and parts of the chair were poking through it easily so I took out my phone to be ready to take pictures. Sure enough a piece of broken lever was floating around in the box. All the pieces looked pretty beat up and scratched from the terrible packaging and poor choice of box. So I had to return it and give it another shot. Fast forward to April 30th finally got the replacement and to my horror…..SAME TERRIBLE packaging and holes in the box. Opened it up and this time no broken parts, but some obvious scratches. Just decided to put it together anyway don’t feel like waiting and going through this again. Unfortunately the left arm rest is wobbly and makes a rattling noise -_- would’ve hoped that everything had worked out but so far this has been an ordeal. Now with time I hope this holds up

Not as good as I was wanting
I would like to rate the chair higher, after all it is a HON. But the seat is hard, and has rough cloth cover. The molded form in the seat is a one size fits all. Or some. The casters are very cheap, hard plastic, no bearings. Lacks rollability. We purchased a set of good casters, and threw the original ones in the trash. Wish I could have found one to sit in before purchasing. Even with all the adjustments , it is the most we have spent on an office chair and still disappointed.
