True to size, great length, not sheer
As someone on the short side I find the common length 7” bike shorts be too long for me. So I was on the hunt for some cotton 5” shorts instead and settled on these.I’m usually a size 6-8 or 28/29 in bottoms/dresses and the M fits perfectly, fitted but not uncomfortably tight and they held up fine to a first wash and dry. Love that they’re cotton spandex for breathability, and they’re thick enough to not sheer out and become see-through when bending down. The waistband is soft and comfy – note they are quite high waist. Since they’re shorter I was worried they would ride up on the legs, but luckily they’re just long enough where that doesn’t happen for me which is nice.Overall great purchase for lounging, walking, or the gym, and I feel like I can finally wear bike shorts that look normal length on me! I’ll probably order another set – wish they came in more colors though like heather gray, rust, or olive green.

Please don’t EVER change these!!! The most perfect cotton workout shorts, sleepwear, or even slip shorts under a dress. Reinforced cotton crotch patch- don’t ride up, don’t constrict organs (but still a wide enough waist band) insanely comfortable all over. I shopped the universe for the perfect cotton shorts to replace all of my toxic leggings/shorts and the search is finally over!I’m 5’2” athletic/petite build with a booty. 135-145 lb fluctuation. Ordered medium.bought 6 pairs. These are officially my forever staple.

Excellent shorts. Super comfy. I sized up and glad I did. Just the right length – I’m petite but probably could still look good on taller ladies. Quality fabric – soft and just the right thickness. Not see through. Solid black. Great for the gym, home, and out and about. Very reasonable. I may buy more.

I haven’t washed them yet, but did try on. I am actually really happy with these. So much that I’m considering buying more☺️ They are super soft and comfy. I’m in the process of dropping weight and tired of not having much to wear. For reference (which I wish women would share more often because it helps TREMENDOUSLY with ordering) I am about 5’8” 170lbs and ordered a large. Will add a photo later. They are snug but in the best best way. Not tight or restrictive in the least bit. I may need to drop to a medium in next 10-15lbs or so, to keep the same fit (I do feel I’ll still be able to wear them even then). Will update…Hopefully sooner than later🙃 Have a safe summer y’all 💖

Not for short people.
I am 4’10 and purchased a medium. When I opened the Shorts, I was excited to see that there was a waist band short enough for the torso I don’t have LOL. However, I put them on and it was a different story. They were still very very long in the crotch area, and they dont flatter shapes very well. They were great at the waist but folded everywhere else because I am too short.

Almost perfect!
Out of four brands of similar shorts that I’ve purchased/tried in the last year, these ones are by far the best. The 5” length is perfect (I’m 5’6” with a longer torso/shorter legs). They are soft and more importantly – breathable cotton. I wear these mostly for working in barns in hot weather so I don’t want shorts that feel like swimsuit material like so many of these types of shorts are. I like the high and wide waistband – it’s really comfy. They are true to size (M – I’m 155-160 lbs). They do ride up just a smidge on the thickest part of my thighs and have the slightest bit of sheerness but not to where you can see other colors or patterns under them. I’d absolutely love some with pockets to slip my phone into or maybe even more colors. So far they’ve washed and worn well over a few weeks time. Just ordered more as I clear out ones from brands I didn’t like as much.

I love these shorts. For some reason I’ve had a really difficult time finding other 5-in bike shorts that are made of a cotton blend, but I absolutely love these for how breathable they are. The only thing I don’t like about them is that they don’t have pockets, and the first time I bought them they were on sale for only 20 bucks for two and now it’s 30 bucks for two, but I still think that’s a really good price so I bought more of them anyway. I wear them under dresses (as you can see in the picture) but you could definitely use them for their intended purpose as well as bike shorts, they are way more comfy than any other pair of bike shorts I have worn! I’ve borrowed some of my mom’s Jockey brand clothes before so I knew I could trust this brand and I’m so glad I did!

Update: the legs do ride up for me after only a moderate amount of walking, and quickly after running, so these are not super useful for me. Maybe if I had sized up I wouldn’t experience as much riding up.I wanted comfortable, cotton, mid rise, medium length inseam bike shorts and these are perfect. Very comfortable. I am pretty consistently a size medium/10 or 30 in jeans and the medium fits perfectly, not too tight or compressing but still form fitting.I wear them for tennis to hold tennis balls inside the side leg area and the tennis balls stay in place. The only issue is these shorts tend to ride up the legs, however I am running in them and manipulating them a lot, and they are cotton not nylon/polyester, so that may be an expected tradeoff for cotton material which I prefer the feel of. If the company designed these with a thin rubber strip inside the hem, that would do wonders I think for keeping these shorts in place.

Super comfy but these have been downgraded to bed shorts because they constantly creep up my inner thighs. I am a size 6 and my inner thighs touch (and have always touched). So if yours do too, these may not be the right fit.
