High Quality at a Good Price
    * I’m coming from Logitech computer speakers *These are a great set of speakers at a respectable price point. The front panel has Aux, headphone jack, volume knob, and power on/off. The front panel looks great and the exposed speakers are a style I prefer. The sound quality is very good clear and feels neutral. I am not an audiophile, but my ears are impressed. If you are looking for a punchy bass heavy set of speakers, avoid these. They will not meet your needs. However, if you are looking for clear audio with a more neutral sound curve, get these. Hard to beat at the price range. The actual build quality looks great and very sturdy. There is no rattle or vibration issues. It also comes with foam pads to put under the speakers if needed.

    Amazing Subwoofer
This subwoofer is remarkable for deep base from an 8” driver, but that is only the beginning. It produces highly accurate sound across the bass spectrum. Instruments sound realistic and tonally correct, with spatial accuracy that far exceeds any bass unit I have owned in the past regardless of cost. And, the sound adjustments make it easy to blend with other speakers. Seriously- a great sub and a great value. That may read like ad copy, but to me it is a joy to endorse a product that has me listening to my CD collection again and hearing a whole new level of detail.

    Good speakers for 100 dollars
Sound good not sure how to compared it to, but it better the laptop speaker. Not too heavy, I put the speaker next to the laptop so I am not sure if the cable are a good length or not. It look fine. Power I don’t what they mean by that. Good speakers for 100 dollars.

Awesome speakers… don’t think twice just order them!
these speakers are awesome!! I love them! The amplifiers are super quiet with great dynamics. The speakers themselves are vented port bass reflex so there’s plenty of bass and the controls on the back of the master unit allows great control for bass and treble. It has balanced and unbalanced inputs on the back of the master unit and has an auxiliary input on the front along with a handy headphone jack. It comes with all the cables you need and they are of good quality. It takes about five minutes to set up possibly even less. No background noise no hiss or hum. I have them spaced about 4 feet apart and there is a great sound stage. The packaging is fantastic – super professionaI and you can tell they care about how their product presents itself out of the box. I can’t say enough good things about these speakers. Definitely get them even if you don’t have a specific purpose for them right now. Just buy them and you’ll find a purpose.

Great speakers, may not last forever
I got a set of Eris 4.5 gen 1s (non-bluetooth) about 5 years ago and until recently they were fantastic. They have great performance for the budget and were a significant step up from the cheap edifiers I used before them. They sound clear, had very low self-noise, and performed well. I paid $200 at the time and they were good value for that price.Unfortunately after about 5 years of use the built in amplifier started to fail, developing a constant loud hiss and significant distortion at higher frequencies. Checking with my oscilloscope showed me the amp was injecting a 24kHz signal into the speaker which was aliasing down to the annoying hiss and tone I was hearing. (I can’t hear 20khz+, I’m too old, but the aliased frequency matches what I was hearing) Both speakers use the same amp which means the set was now effectively dead. (I did verify this was the speaker, and not the power, environment, etc)For that five year period I had no complaints. I’ve since upgraded to a much nicer set of monitors but I would still recommend these to someone wanting a nice set of studio monitors without wanting to spend $400+, just understand these may not last your whole life. For anyone curious, when I opened the case to diagnose the dead amp I saw the bluetooth and non-bluetooth gen-1 models are identical. The bluetooth module sits on a daughter-board on the amp. The non-bluetooth version contains the PCB but the components are not populated. You could probably reverse-engineer this to inject your own signal into the amp.

    Much better mixes
I got this for my home studio and after using it to finish three songs since getting it, I can say I was definitely handicapped trying to produce and mix without a sub. I have the sub paired with my Presonus Eris 5 speakers. The songs I’ve produced using the sub vs. without the sub have translated much better across various speaker systems and my low end is much tighter and easier to manage. Also, when it comes to sound design, I can make much deeper and higher quality sub bass synth patches because I can actually hear and feel what I’m doing. I’d recommend using a calibrated room microphone and an acoustic room response calibration software to calibrate the sub and your speakers to your specific room as well. I found for my room I could just leave the sub in it’s default configuration out of the box, but the settings on the back of the sub allow for some really nice fine tuning to get a nice flat response after accounting for the room response. Lastly, I really like the Bluetooth capability for casual listening and it works well if you only pair it with one device, but I found that if you want to switch between devices you have to press and hold the Bluetooth button on the back of the sub for it to connect to a different device each time despite already being paired. It connects automatically without that step if you just connect and use one BT device consistently with it. Kind of a weird and somewhat annoying quirk, but I don’t really use the Bluetooth for anything but connecting my phone to the speaker system for leisure listening, and I only occasionally connect my laptop. For music production though, I use balanced TRS cables routed to my audio interface because the Bluetooth can add a significant amount of latency to the signal chain. In summary, if you already have Eris speakers and want to gain the valuable information your ears need to have great low end in your mixes I’d say this sub is a no brainer and worth every penny.

Super recomendadas.

Trust me, I spent way more than i should on speakers. I am no musician, I am just an average joe who wants a decent speaker for my PC.My Bose companion 2 failed after 11 months of use.My Creative T100 have popping noise issueMy Logitech Z625 has wayyy too much bass.I finally found the speaker I’ve been looking for.- Delivery is fast, received them within a week. Having something sent from UK then to the US and finally to Sydney Australia is just amazing.- Sound quality is great, decent clarity with enough bass. little to zero background noise- Came in brand new with no sign of wear. They look cool too with that mat finish black coating, which is pretty much scratch proof.- The cone is well made, it feels like those cone you would see on a $300 speaker. My only concern now is how long this speaker will last, and if I had to be very picky. my only complaint is that this speaker came with UK adapter, not the US adapter advertised in the photo. (this is hardly a problem to me)
